A Golden Retriever bitch aged 3 yrs presented after 5 days of treatment by a quack , with the history of mating 58 days before, recumbency, anorexia, fever, vaginal discharge, urinary retention. The bitch was tested and found highly infected with Ehrlichia canis ( a blood protozoa), ascitis, hepatic disorder and anaemia with low platelet count. Sonography and X ray was not possible. The owner was made aware of the high risk, and was operated mid- ventrally by Caessarean Section to save life to whelp 2 live pups and 4 deaths successfully. Now the bitch will be treated for her superimposed deadly diseases.
