Like human kids, Cats 🐶 and Dogs 🐹 also need regular vaccinations to prevent some serious and infectious diseases. Vaccination 💉against zoonotic diseases such as Rabies and Leptospirosis protects not your Pet only but also you. Generally, for Dogs the core Vaccines 💉 includes the Vaccines for Canine Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, and Rabies. For Cats, they are Panleukopenia, Calcivirus, Rhinotracheitis (Herpesvirus), and Rabies. After having his initial Vaccinations as a Puppy, he should be Vaccinated annually throughout his life. Pet owner must be aware of the diseases such as Rabies, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Feline Panleukopenia, and Feline Calcivirus which are very serious and even fatal, especially in Puppies and Kittens. Pet should be Vaccinated by qualified Veterinary Doctor because before Vaccination Health Checkup is required. Vaccination Certificate and Vaccine sticker, Doctor stamp with name and Registration No (MSVC/ VCI) should be given by Doctor. Can we use Human Shampoos🧴, Savlon, Soaps etc for my Pet 🐶?

Dogs🐹 and Human 🤴skin layer have distinct pH balance. Human skin has a normal pH balance of 5.5-5.6, which is on acidic side whereas dogs have a normal pH balance of 6.2-7.4, which is more neutral. Acid mantle, a thin layer of skin, protects the top most layer of the skin, the stratum corneum, from contaminants such as viruses 🦠 and bacteria. It also keeps the body hydrated by absorbing water and reducing evaporation. When we bathe 🛁, the acid mantle is washed away. To counter this, most soaps 🧼and shampoos have ingredients that moisturize and protect the skin until the acid mantle renews itself. In order to do this job, the proper balance of acidity and alkalinity is crucial. This is called the pH balance. Using human soap 🧽 or shampoo for Dogs 🐹disrupts the acid mantle, leaving him more prone to parasites, viruses, and bacteria. It also makes his skin to feel dry and flaky, leading to repeated scratching and abrasions. This makes it easy for bacteria to invade.

When will my Puppy 🐹 grow its full size?

All Puppies🐹 are considered as adult dogs 🐕once they become one year old. Puppies continue to grow in height and size till their bones develop, which takes anywhere from 6 to 24 months. Their skeletal growth determines how tall they will be when they will become adults. Small breeds 🐩typically stop growing when they become 6 to 8 months old, but giant breeds 🐕 continue to grow until they are 12 to 18 months old.

The ideal age for a weaning of puppy 🐹 from its litter and mother is 6 weeks. At the age of 6 weeks, his hearing and vision is limited, and by the age of 12 weeks, they're fully developed. It should be well-developed with motor skills and you're more likely to get his attention. When you name your puppy 🐹, give him a likable name that's easy to say in a clear and sound manner and short names having two syllables are preferable.

Why Puppy 🐶 becomes more active 💪 in night hours 🌓?

The average sleeping hours of Dog is 12 to 14 hours ⏰ in a day. The Puppies 🐶 spend lot of energy in exploring and training may be required for more sleep as 18 to 20 hours . Dogs are flexible sleepers, they prefer short time of activities ⚽️ including naps while human tends to work all day and sleep at night 🌓. When they feel bore doing outside activities they tend to sleep , most of the dogs become active in the morning hours 🌞 and at night hours . Puppies 🐾 wake up with energy and excitement after dedicated sleep time 😤, that is why Pups 🐶 seem so excited and energetic in morning and when you return home 🏠 from works at night .

Why My Puppy🐹 Bites so much and when they stop Biting?
Puppies 🐶 have the habit of biting like children. At the age of 7th week, their needle sharp teeth is developed and they tend to bite or chew whatever 👞 they get, and this continues up to 4 months, until their permanent teeth comes out. It is called as mouthing and teething. They may bite if they are in fear or frustrated or aggressive 😾. As a solution you should give him suitable play toy🧸 🧶for bite.
Many owners frequently ask that “When will my Puppy 🐾stop biting?” The answer is ‘Not soon Enough’. Puppies start teething at the age of 3-4 months and they stop biting at 7 months of age when full set of grown up teeth comes. If you play ⚽️ physically with your puppy less, the biting will naturally start to decrease at the age of 5 months. If you feel your puppy bite harms you or he is very aggressive by nature, then you should visit your Vet 👨‍⚕️as soon as possible.

TINY FLEAS AND TICKS CAN BE A BIG PROBLEM—HERE’S HOW TO GET THE UPPER HAND OVER THOSE PESTS!
As a concerned Pet Owner, you should take some preventive measures 👊in order to keep your Pet 🐹🐱away form fleas and ticks 🕷without affecting their health.
These Measures are as follows:
1. You have to keep your home 🏠and surrounding area free from Ticks and Fleas. This can be achieved by using Pest Control Service regularly or by sprinkling Butox liquid of 2ml dissolved in 250 ml water on affected area.
2. Frequent Combing and brushing 🧹is needed, if any fleas or a tick 🕷is there, it can come out easily while brushing and after that Pet can be treated with Spot on Liquid🧴.
3. If your Pet has long hair, routine grooming ✂️especially in Summer Season is the best solution for you to find any ticks and fleas on his body.
4. Your Pet 🐶 should be bathed 🛁with medicated Shampoo regularly.
5. Home should be cleaned regularly 🧹and Carpet area should be Vacuumed once in a week.
6. There are numerous Flea and Tick control Products available in the market. You can use any of them for your pet 🐱 after taking suggestion from Veterinarian👨‍⚕️.

The most common question arises in Pet Owner's mind that, “Why my Puppy 🐹 keeps asking for food- am I giving less food 🍿?”
You should offer food to your Puppy 🐶 based on his ideal body weight, daily activity, metabolism and environment.
The following Table shows how much food (Tablespoon)🍿 is needed for your Puppy depending on his breed and age:
Here the quantity of food 🍿 is measured in Tablespoon . The average weight of each breed is considered and daily activity, metabolism & environment factors are not considered. The mentioned quantity should be given per meal 🍿. Feeding should be followed 4 times a day for up to 3 months of age.You should provide food at an interval of 4-5 hours between meals. You should stick to the same timings of feeding on every day. Between 4-6 Months feeding should be followed 3 times a day (2 meal of commercial food + one meal of home-made food). After 6 Months feeding should be followed 2 times a day (one meal of commercial food + one meal of home-made food (or) two meals of commercial food).

If your Puppy 🐶 sleeps in the bathroom or wet place 💦, there is nothing to worry, it is natural behaviour. The reason is that, he feels hot during Summer season 🌞, and feels comfortable sleeping in wet places. And he likes the smell of the stuff 💩which are considered to be bad according to human standards. As a consequences Ectoparasites such as flees, lice and ticks 🕷 live on his skin causing Skin Infection and it needs immediate attention. So, wet floor 💦 should be cleaned 🧹 regularly to prevent any skin infection and body should be dried off immediately. Be sure to use some cream🧴on his elbows, which will save him from any injury if he lays on hard floor.

After adopting a new Puppy 🐹/Kitten 🐱, the very first question arises in Pet Owner's mind, “Can I bath 💦my Puppy or Kitten?” So the basic answer is “Yes, You can”, but there are some terms and condition applied.
If the age of your Puppy or Kitten is less than 3 months you should not give him bath 💧regularly as his body is not able to regulate body temperature . Only you have to clean him properly with a wet cotton cloth dipped in warm water once a week as he plays outside your home and gets dirty and moreover Ectoparasite such as Fleas or Ticks 🕷 resides in his hair. After 3 Months you can give him bath once a week with warm water 💧using Pet bathing Shampoo and Conditioner.
NOTE- Don’t use Human shampoo or Soap as it is very harsh for his skin and please give him less bath during winter and let dry him off properly to avoid Cough and Cold.
