Nymphoides hydrophylla (Taiwan lily)

Non-demanding plant that is visually attractive, but also flowers without any difficulty. This plant can thrive in low-tech setups although optimal conditions will ensure even faster growth. It can even survive in brackish setups.

Leaves can be grown submerged or floating. Propagation is achieved by formation of new plantlet at leaf junction. The new plant can then be planted in the substrate or just simply left floating.

Plants are grown in controlled conditions. This reduces chances of any pathogens or diseases that may potentially harm your valuable livestock.

Plants you'll receive will be grown emersed with few daughter plants. This increases chances of survival while in transit and provides insurance in case of any dead plant.

Eichhornia crassipes (Water Hyacinth)

Floating plant native to South America. Usually suitable for patio ponds and outdoor setups, but can also be kept in aquariums either as a decor or to remove toxins and excess nutrients from water column.

Plants are cultivated in controlled conditions, meaning no potential parasites or diseases to your valuable livestock. The same can not be said for wild collected specimens.

Under low light, the leaves turn pale with very small leaves. Otherwise, this plant has a tremendously high growth rate. The wax coating on the leaves makes it more resistant to surrounding humidity.

Easy to grow and maintain. Long hairy roots can be used by fish and shrimp breeders as hiding space for eggs and fries. Propagation is done by stolons as well as seeds.

Vallisneria nana

This plant has the thinnest leaves in the Vallisneria genus (less than 1cm). Stays relatively short than most Vallisneria species(10-12 inch). Propagation is done by runners as well as through seeds.

Easy to grow, but slightly demanding plant. Can even tolerate brackish conditions but with a slower growth rate. The thin leaf size discourages the pest snails to lay eggs in on the leaf. Can also be used as a substitute for spawning mops by fish breeders. Best used in mid-ground or background in a planted aquarium.

Elatine triandra

A relatively rare plant in aquarium hobby. This plant has a bright yellow-green colour which provides contrast to dark coloured plants. It can either be grown as a foreground plant by creating a carpet or can be placed in midground as a bush of 3-4 inches tall.

Elatine triandra is a nutrient hog in nature. Moderate light and CO2 levels along with high nutrient levels(especially iron) in substrate and water column is recommended.

Compared to emersed form, this plant is very delicate in its submerged form. However once settled, it isn't too difficult to grow. Under optimal conditions, its growth rate is extremely high and easily surpasses that of most carpeting plants.

Plants you'll receive will be grown emersed, with the stems having few roots. This reduces damage due to transit and helps in easier adjustment in your aquarium.

Vallisneria natans (Common Vallisneria)

Usually misidentified as Jungle Vallisneria by sellers and hobbyists. This plant stays relatively small when exposed to intense lighting. Propagation is done by runners as well as through seeds.

Easy to grow, undemanding plant. Can even tolerate brackish conditions but with a slower growth rate. The high growth rate makes it suitable to use with small herbivore fishes. Can also be used as a substitute for spawning mops by fish breeders.

Epiphytic plants native to India. Propagation is done via rhizome. Very hardy and nearly indestructible. Can be placed on Rocks, Driftwood and also on the substrate without burying the rhizome. A non demanding plant. However, optimal conditions helps in faster growth and enhances colours in some species.

Apart from aquariums, they can also be used in Terrariums and Paludariums.
A much cheaper alternative to Anubias and Bucephalandra species.

The plants you'll receive will either be in net pots or loose, depending upon availability. The quantity in both conditions will be same.

Hydrocotyle verticillata

Commonly known as whorled pennywort or umbrella pennywort. It can be used in foreground, background or as a floating plant. Grows emersed as well as submerged. In submerged form, growth rate is slower. Due to its ability to grow emersed, it can also be used by hobbyists in paludariums and terrariums.

Unlike most other Hydrocotyle varieties, Hydrocotyle verticillata is a creeping plant that stays relatively low when provided with enough light, almost resembling a field of clovers or mushrooms in the aquarium. Bright lighting along with moderate CO2 and nutrients required to maintain the carpet. In low light and/or high nutrient setup, the plants tend to grow taller with much larger leaf size.

Plants you'll receive will be grown emersed. It reduces the chances of damage during shipping.

Eleocharis vivipara.

It's also commonly known as Tall Hairgrass. Can grow upto 12 inches in length under ideal conditions. Propagation is done by runners as well as formation of new plantlets on the leaf ends near the water surface.

A plant with low to moderate requirements. However, bright light, CO2 and nutrients help in faster and lush growth.

Personal observation:
Under intense lighting with minimal CO2 and low nutrient levels, this plant remains shorter in length (2.5 inch) and can be used as a foreground plant just like dwarf hairgrass. It then grows back to its original form after receiving optimal conditions

The plants you'll receive will be grown submerged and the height shortened using direct sunlight. This makes the plant easy to ship and also eliminates the additional time needed for transition.

Helanthium tennelum 'micro'

Previously known as Echinodorus tenellus 'micro'. It's a much smaller version of the more commonly available Echinodorus tenellus.

A suitable alternative to dwarf hairgrass. This plant has very little requirements and easy to grow. However, optimal light, nutrients and CO2 along with soft water is always appreciated. Under intense lighting, the leaves show a metallic red coloration.

The plants you'll receive will be grown submerged instead of emersed. This eliminates the extra time needed for its transition.
