Today I got to know that one of my neighbour's dog died because owners left her inside closed car. They planned to do quickly some paper work, but they took some extra time and well - poor doggy didn't make it. Now whole family is crying and everyone who knows them feel sorry. They are nice family and they loved their dog very much.
I am not sure how popular this topic is in India but it is loud in my home country from years:
DON'T LEAVE YOUR PET IN THE CAR ALONE. EVEN IF IT'S "JUST 5 MINUTE" THING!
All over the world there is many stories of pets who died because they were left alone in the car and it was too too hot for them to manage.
Maybe you think you will take 5 minutes. But there is always a chance you will take some more time. And as a driver / person who is going by car even from time to time in summer time, I am sure you realized that inside car is much hotter than outside and pet can't manage this temperature. In some cold cold countries it might be OK to leave your pet inside the car for maximum 5 minutes when the car is parked in shadow with open window / switched on AC (and still is not recommended / not legal in most of the countries), but in India for sure it is not enough.
Let's be responsible for pets we took home then:
Dog which is loved, have proper diet and enough of activities & is trained - is the best friend you can imagine. Give him / her best possible care and love.

Please share it to make sure no other pet will die in such a terrible way 🙏

P. S.
Although this post was inspired by dog's death, please be aware that same can happen to any living being left alone in the car. I heard stories of children's death as well: I know is hard to believe, common excuse was "I just wanted to buy milk and my baby was sleeping so I left her / him in the car". And the child is no more. Never ever leave alone anyone in the car. Please notice that inside parked car is much much hot than outside.
Be safe. Use brain and common sense.
