Hydroponic is a soilless method of agriculture where we grow exotic vegetables in a climate controlled environment to bring you your favourite veggies all year round. The benefit of growing these veggies in a controlled environment is that there is no room for any pests or insects reaching the healthy crops which in turn spares us from using any sort of pesticides/insecticides or even fungicides.

The crops grow in just circulating water where they receive all the necessary nutrients and it in turn enhances their growth speed which saves us from using any harmful chemicals for growth enhancements. Here at Nutrient Co, we not just take care of the nutrition of our veggies but we also take care of your health along with saving our precious water resource as hydroponic technique of agriculture utilises only 15-20% of water as compared to the traditional methods.

Water is the most essential need of our planet and drinking water is the most important component of our whole body. We not just save water through our hydroponic system but also through various day to day activities like keeping track of dripping taps, using bucket full of water instead of hosepipe while washing things.

📈 As a matter of fact, rising incomes and urbanization are leading to dietary changes implying more demand for water-intensive foods (e.g. meat and dairy products).

🚜 Ensuring sustainable management of water for all remains a challenge. Success is still achievable, but only by ensuring more productive and sustainable use of freshwater and rainwater in agriculture, the world’s largest water user, accounting for more than 70% of global withdrawals.

💡But solutions exist. An increasingly important strategy to offset water scarcity in agriculture is investing in non-consumptive uses of water like aquaponics.
