Four years back, you left this world where most people have nothing but hatred for our furries on the streets. But thank you Dipti Ma’am for raising a son who is not only kind but has decided to celebrate your life with them. I bet you are content and at peace to see what a beautiful person your son is. I hope there is only love and nothing but love wherever you are today.

In a world obsessed with foreign breeds, meet a girl who not only took in a indie female pup in need of a home, but also, made the pup her entire life. Shuvasri adopted candy when candy had no one. The pup was recovering from an accident, she had no mum dog to go back to, and had she been released back to the street, the only viable future she would have was death, like the countless strays that dies on the street everyday. Look at candy today, a princess in true sense, her family plans their schedules and routines around her, and candy’s slightest discomfort gets the entire family worried. The beacon of hope family is proud to have members like Shuvasri in the team. So on candy’s second birthday, we wish Candy a long life, and a very happy birthday. The love of all the furries is with Candy, and her family.

We, The Beacon OF HOPE has beem feeding around 750 dogs all over Newtown, Sector 5 Salt Lake Kolkata, Kolkata Railway Station and Some locations of North Kolkata.. But recently we r stumbling over huge fund crisis obstacles tp continue our Mass Feeding and treatment cases as there has been very few people supporting our cause.. সবার থেকে একটু সাহায্য চাইছি। এই বাচ্চা টির উপর কেউ গরম জল ঢেলে দিয়েছে বলে মনে হচ্ছে। আমি এর ট্রিটমেন্ট র চেষ্টা করেছিলাম, কিন্তু ঘা তা এতো বেশি স্পট এ সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। সানা আর আমি ওকে রেস্কুও করার চেষ্টা করছি জিভা ফাউন্ডেশন এ পাঠাবো বলে। গাড়ি ভাড়া আর শেল্টার চার্জ র জন্য Rs ৩০০০ দরকার। আপনারা সবাই এগিয়ে আসলে ওকে বাঁচাতে পারবো।

Requesting some help. Someone poured Boiling water or acid on this baby. This is a stray and I have been trying to treat her. But she won't heal without proper shelter and regular monitoring. Sana Sana and I have talked to Jiva Foundation and Sreetama di is willing to take her in for treatment. For now we need Rs 3000 for transportation and shelter charge. Requesting some help from you all. Every 50 or 100 will be highly appreciated. Kindly donate for her treatment.

DA, this is a very small request to you. As you are all aware, we have around 7 cats at Mira Foundation with Mousumi Maity di. These cats are paralysed and need permanent shelter and medical care. She charges us quite less compared to other shelters Rs 10000 a month (boarding and food and all). Now for April we have only been able to pay Rs 4000 so far and she still owes us Rs 6000. We come across all sorts of people in our paths of life, some teach us lessons, some makes us happy, some just inspires. Amardeep Kar's mother, Dipti Kar did just that, not only did she make an impact in the lives of people around her but also raised the beautiful human being that is her son.

On the occasion of his mother's third death anniversary, Amardeep decided to sponsor today's meal for Sector V feeding drive and we couldn't be more honoured.

Beacon of hope family is facing a serious crisis right now, we have a deficit of 26320 to raise else will have to stop the feeding drive from next month, more than 700 dogs are part of our drive now, and would probably won't get food from next month. But I guess there's a higher power looking over us all, and they aren't keen on letting our efforts go in vain and so they send people like Amardeep as saviours for our furries on the street. We take pride in claiming that we run one of the biggest dog feeding drives in Kolkaga. Approximately 500-550 dogs in sector v and new town alone. Not just that we treat, sterilise and try to give them the best life possible. But our expenses are huge, for feeding alone, we spend approximately 1.5 lakhs. Then there is treatment, sterilisation and fostering expenses of our disabled fur babies. We cannot continue without your help. We immediately need to raise fund to admit this puppy from Eco Park area. The puppy has met with an accident and is paralyzed from waist down and has also suffered much damage to his internal organs. His lower abdomen is swollen and he has stopped eating. His initial treatment cost, along with transportation to the hospital, medical tests etc will alone cost us 6000-7000.
