Nothing but respect and gratitude for our pack leader for the kind of exposure that hardly anyone in the field gets today.

While many think they're in a pack, most likely they're part of a herd. The beauty of a pack, that differentiates it from a herd, is that every individual in the pack has a clearly defined role. A role that he/she is solely responsible. And each individual is nurtured to form his/her own pack some day with his/her own set of ideas and beliefs. A herd on the hand follows one mindset, no questions asked.

So ask yourself, are you in a pack or in a herd?

When you meet the breed you've only read about in books.

These are the German Short-haired pointer (Liver/brown) and the English Pointer (black-white). Also known as the "Swiss army knife" dog breed.

Excellent dogs to have if you can understand their needs.

Dog training is not about asking your dog to 'shake hand', it is about letting your dog know that you can take care of him and protect him even when there are "aggressive" strays blocking your path.

Today, and Zion walked through a lane with around 40-50 strays, where even humans fear to go, before they entered the lane outside their building, which I've captured in this video.

Day 3: My dog doesn't listen to me outside.

After a gap of 3-4 days of battling anxiety and breakdowns, we managed to progress to the next level. It's crucial for and to work on their bonding if Bira has to listen to Payal ignoring my presence. And what's better to develop bonding than basic obedience.

It's crucial for Payal here to make sure Bira focuses on her and listens to her even when they are outside their comfort zone, outside.

It's the same spot where Bira had ran away from Payal once which has left Payal shaken ever since. Today we went back to address the problem where it began.
