Introducing Lighthouse Canines new logo.

6 years ago, helped me build the first official logo and it was a great representation of how I felt about life and myself at that time. I loved it and I am so grateful for it.

But as life has progressed, I have grown as a human being and so has Lighthouse Canines. And it was time that the logo reflected this change.

Thank you so much for this new logo. I love it.

It’s been almost a decade since I first stepped into the dog industry, initially as a dog friendly farm/cafe owner and then as a professional dog trainer. I’ve changed a lot as a person, and it’s time that my work, which is arguably the biggest part of my life also reflects that change.

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting some major and minor changes to Lighthouse Canines, the services we provide and the opportunities we offer.

I am so grateful for the community we’ve created and all the support I have received from everyone whose dogs life I’ve ever been a part of and I hope that y’all will keep loving and supporting in the future too.

As the dust from the chaos of so many PSA events held in the last two weeks in India settles, I want to give a special shout out to three people that are so close to my heart as they trusted my breeding program enough to take their first steps into the working dog world with.

, you’ve so beautifully matured into the person I always deep down knew you were. I have seen you stand up against people who didn’t understand you, who belittled your vision and doubted your ability to do it. You proved them all wrong and how! To start a PSA club, host an amazing trial and to take all the trophies home is not as easy as you made it look like. You’re going to go so far in life and I am so proud of you.

, if someone ever asked me what having a dream and pursuing it relentlessly looked like, I’d point them towards you. I have seen you make a 4 hours one-way journey countless times just so you could come train at club. Spending every free minute from med school to soak up dog training knowledge. Helping me out no matter what the task. That decoy certification was well deserved, not just because of your performance on those two days of testing but because of the hardwork you have put in since day 1.
10 even though the strings that bound us to each other do not exist in their physical forms anymore, you still continue to be one of my favourite people and someone I will never stop caring for. I have never met someone as brave as you. I have seen you step up to take bites from dogs that would put the fear of God in grown men. I have seen you put the safety and care of dogs before your own. You’re going to change the way our country looks at female decoys and I am so glad to have been a small part of your journey. I wish you all the best with your new pup.

I am so honoured to have known you all and call you guys my friends.

This deserves a post, and not a 24hr story.

Laika and her story has always affected me so much. Dying a slow painful death, alone, in a small heating up cabin just so humans can claim hollow victories. The humans working knew that the launch was rushed and that Sputnik 2 was not going to be able to support life.

Man, this has been long due and I can’t believe I am finally saying this, The Lighthouse Canines Podcast is now Live on Spotify!

The very first episode is just a short glimpse into why I wanted to do this. Episode 2 onwards we switch to a long video format which will also be available on Youtube.
