SmallPaw aims to create the first and most comprehensive digital pet-centric ecosystem, which is an aggregate of pet care & emergency services and a social media platform for the better connectivity of pet owners that aims to ameliorate the conditions of pet animals, pet service providers as well as stray animals.
Built on the philosophy of an emotional connection with the pets instead of their objectification, SmallPaw has a mission to create a positive impact on the pet community while catering to the most basic needs of the pets in India. We aspire to assist pet parents through our mobile app and the website in easy and stress-free parenting of pets with focus on pet health and pet inclusion in our society.
Precisely, Our platform is a unique combination of the following things- 1. A more efficient and readily available platform to buy and sell pet care services for both pet parents as well as service providers. 2. Giving pet community access to round the clock healthcare services like booking ambulance, veterinary and pharmaceutical services. 3. A one-stop media sharing and training platform for pets through tutorials, blogs and training videos. 4. Promoting the welfare of stray animals by helping the people to adopt them, contacting the NGOs to take care of them and/or establishing the offline stress buster centers at workplaces where they can be kept for people to visit and play with them.
Founded in 2019 by the students of premier institutes like IIT Kharagpur and Monash University (Australia), SmallPaw is soon going to launch its services across the major cities of India as well as across the borders to offer a wide array of facilities for pets. The real drive and motivation for the founders come from the fact that they themselves have experienced the sudden death of their pets in the midnight owing to the unavailability of 24*7 veterinary services in their locality.
