PIT ISLAND & SAMI THE ARAB’S BOOMER ROM

Back in the late nineties my partner & good friend Sami the Arab called me and asked me if I would take his most prized possessions, Boomer, Crazy Legs & Millie up to my yard and use them in my breeding program. These dogs were litter-mates that he kept out of a breeding he did with Nagy’s Christine to Smiths Red. I knew from some of the early breeding’s that Sami did with these dogs that they had the ability to produce good solid bulldogs so I jumped at the chance to start breeding these red boy dogs. At that time Sami and I had already acquired several great dogs from the yard of David Tant so I knew breeding Boomer and his litter-mates to the blood I had already acquired would make explosive results and complete the package.

When I got the dogs to the yard I received a phone call from my partner Sami and he told me to be very careful breeding Boomer because he would tie to a bitch with no problem but when he was ready to pull out he would go crazy! I said “now you tell me this” I asked him if he had the ability to bite under normal conditions and he said no! Sami thought it was the funniest thing but I knew I could handle it. Being that I do not feed, keep or breed man biters and the fact that I had three daughters I had to test Boomer myself. I constantly tested this dog for week straight by feeding him steak, liver, chicken you name it while putting my hands in his bowl and roughing him up and true to Sami’s word all Boomer would do was wag his tail and lick me. I knew at that time this dog wasn’t a man biter he just was a crazy ass red boy dog that had a thing with when he is done breeding he is done!

Taking no chances the first time I bred him I muzzled him and stretched the bitch and chain out tight. Sure as s**t after about a 30 min tie Boomer started flailing around like a fish out of water, growling and going nutstrying to get his dick out of the bitch. Once he came loose, he was fine but I remember thinking man, that is the strangest thing I have ever seen…lmao I started the program with these dogs as soon as I can breeding both Boomer and his brother Crazy Legs to our best brood bi***es. Mostly these bi***es were bred down from my own stock off Hardcore’s Ch. Mystic as well as the stock we purchased from Tant. Crazy Legs was a small odd looking dogs with bad legs which is how he got the name. He was so damn fight crazy that the only two breeding’s I did with him I had to do via artificial insemination. One was to a direct daughter of School Boys Big Red and the other to my Pepsi bitch. Out of these breeding came two champions. Crazy Legs died of cancer soon after so I concentrated solely on Boomer & Millie From the early breeding I did with Boomer I could see these dogs were something special. As pups they were on fire and showed the typical crazy attitudes red boy dogs were known for but as they matured and we started looking at them closely we could see they also had extreme determination, ability & very hard bites. These dogs were working dogs and boy did they love to work!

I decided I needed to continue the program by inbreeding Boomer back to his sister Millie. I wanted to see how these in**ed dogs would turn out. Out of these breeding’s I took only the very best females and bred them back to Boomer. The females that I considered average I only used as out crosses & they turned out to be great producers in their own right. I stayed on this course for several years and thru hard culling, breeding only his best daughters back to him, I eventually started to get red boy dogs like no other we have ever seen. This line of red boy dogs excelled in almost every facet as compared to other lines and I was very pleased with the results we were getting out of all these breeding’s, in**ed or out crossed this family was producing dogs of the highest caliber. The early breeding’s that we did with Boomer bred back to his sister Mille produced really solid bulldogs. So much so that I decided to wait to get the one special male from those breeding’s that I could use for breeding as well. That dog turned out to be Boomer Jr. Out of all the males we had from those breeding’s this dog topped them all in every aspect.

After he made the cut and I started to implement him in the breeding program I could see that he too had the ability to produce high caliber dogs! It did not take long for people to notice the quality of this blood. Before long they were in demand all over the country and eventually the demand for them extended overseas as well. As with any line of dogs you get some good and some bad but the good far outweighed the bad. People could not deny that these Boomer dogs were way above the average as far as red boy dogs go and before long they were being referred to as “Boomer” dogs. This I knew was a great honor, when the mantle gets passed down from one famous dog in a gene pool to another dog it speaks volumes on that dogs producing abilities. Boomer made R.O.M. when he was just six years old and produced a total of 7 show champions that we know of and too many show winners to even keep track of.

The old man as I called him had the best chain spot right by the house and he was always treated like a king! He was the one that got the table scraps and the most attention from our family. All of my kids loved Boomer
to death and were always playing with him. In the fall of 2010 Sami the Arab came to the yard for a long overdue visit. My friend Ray took pictures and we are happy we did. At that time Boomer was ten and he was looking it. Sami and I decided it would not be good for the old man to spend another winter on my yard so he took him back to Brooklyn shortly thereafter. He lived a good life for the next two years with the man that bred him eating the best of everything and sleeping on the couch! New year’s day 2012 Boomer passed away sleeping next to the radiator in Sami’s bedroom. It was a proud honor for Sami and I to own such a great stud dog. He was a true living legend and we were truly blessed to have had the opportunity to live with this great animal. I am confident that he will go down as one of the greatest stud dogs to have ever lived! He will always be missed, rest in peace old man and thanks for all the memories.

Here is your daily dose of Pitdogology! LZD Kennels' Champion AFRICANO, bred by BMK & GO Kennels, sired by GO Kennels' Grand Champion CROATA ROM and out of BMK's KILLA, basically a Grand Champion MAYDAY ROM/Davor's VILI cross sprinkled with some fine Patrick and Boudreaux blood - among others - for that extra flavor. AFRICANO won four at around 38-39 pounds, including his win over the two-time winner Esmak Kennels' BOLIO in 48, before losing at the age of six against Limited Edition Kennels' Grand Champion 12 GAUGE in 39.

Do not fear failure but rather fear not trying!

Support us and be part of bulldog history!

Historical
In 1983, Katie Marlowe made a breeding that made an impact in today's dogs. The litter I am talking about was when she bred her F***y dog (double bred Granddaughter of Bass Tramp RedBoy) back to RedBoy. This breeding was very similar to the famous Chavis' Yellow John dog. From this breeding, came Bingo, Amber, and a few others. As a pup, Bingo was raised and campaigned by Katie Marlowe at the age of two. His first and only match was during the summer of '85 against a highly regarded dog going for his grand championship. After 1:27 minutes, Bingo defeated the four-time winner in great fashion. Shortly after he was matched, Katie sold him to Steel Fire Kennels. Three years later, in the summer of 1988, the SDJ had an advertisement posted by Steel Fire Kennels to sell Bingo. At the time, I kept a yard of tight Yellow John bred dogs. After talking to Fletcher Chavis, who was my main influence in the RedBoy dogs, I became very interested in a dog that I thought would make a big impact to my yard. Bingo would bring the RedBoy blood up close. Once I got Bingo in my yard, I wanted to personally see if he was as good as they say. He was rolled several times, in which he proved to me that he was going to be used as my primary stud dog.

Bingo was bred to approximately 26 different gyps during the time I had him. Twenty of those gyps were my own. Although he was bred to a lot of great females, some of the ones that come to mind are Marlowe's Peaches (Eslinger), Bailey's Lacy, Bailey's Paycheck (pure Yellow John), Richardson's Cream, El Vira (2XW), and Bailey's Cherry. When he was bred to Peaches, the litter of pups consisted of WCC's Deacon ROM, Crenshaw's Hunter Red ROM, GR CH Radar, Charlie's Justice (2XW), and Red Girl (1XW and 1XL dead game). With Lacy's breeding came Ch Bubba, Rangel's Durango, Ginger, and Spooty. The last litter, I would like to mention was Bingo's breeding to Richardson's Cream. This litter consisted of two females that automatically come to mind. The two females were Blitz and Twister (dam of Pitstop's Red ROM). Other dogs that I would like to mention produced by Bingo were Bailey's Crypt (AKA Bo), Bailey's Cadillac, Bailey's (O. Stevens') Red Ape, Garner's Hap, and Ch Monkey Man. With those dogs in mind, Bingo has produced at least two Champions and 1 Gr. Ch.

Benefits of feeding coconut oil to dogs diet !
Unrefined or “virgin” coconut oil, which is made from fresh coconuts, has culinary and health experts excited. Pressed by hand using traditional methods or manufactured in state-of-the-art factories, virgin coconut oil retains most of the nutrients found in fresh coconut.

when taken internally, coconut oil:

• Reduces the risk of cancer and other degenerative conditions

• Improves cholesterol levels and helps fight heart disease

• Improves digestion and nutrient absorption

• Heals digestive disorders like Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcers, and colitis

• Contains powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal agents that prevent infection and disease

• Relieves arthritis

• Prevents and treats yeast and fungal infections, including thrush and candidiasis

• Prevents and treats viral infections, including herpes, measles, and the flu

• Helps balance the body’s metabolism and hormones

• Promotes normal thyroid function

• Helps prevent or control diabetes

• Rejuvenates the skin and protects against skin cancer, age spots, acne, and other blemishes

• Helps prevent osteoporosis

• Reduces allergic reactions

• Supplies fewer calories than other fats.

Applied topically, its boosters say that coconut oil also does the following:

• Disinfects cuts

• Promotes wound healing

• Improves skin health and hair condition

• Deodorizes whatever it touches (some people brush their teeth with it or use it as an underarm deodorant)

• Clears up warts, moles, psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, precancerous lesions, athlete’s foot, jock itch, diaper rash, ringworm, vaginal yeast infections, and toenail fungus.

All of this is excellent news for people !

Feed small amounts and increase gradually to about 1 tablespoon per 30 lbs body weight daily.

Watch for changes in your dog’s energy, skin, coat, breath, and body odor.

Apply coconut oil topically to cuts, wounds, infected ears, bites, and sting

RUFF N TUFF’s GR CH DEUCE

Ruff-N-Tuff’s Deuce came to us as Hill’s Bruno from Hill’s Pits. He was purchased to be a house pet and because of who sired him, Gr Ch Lunkane. I loved the look of Gr Ch Lukane and wanted to start investing in the Mayday line so I contacted Hill’s Pits and up we went to pick out our pup. Deuce was raised in the house since he was 5 weeks old, he was very smart and easy to train also. At the age of 6 months, he decided to run into his first dog. I proceeded to break him off the other dog and take him back into the house. After that incident, I closed that exit off so he wouldn’t be able to see the dogs when he went out. That didn’t work either because he went off into the same dog the next time he went out. As Deuce was taken back into the house, the other dog was taken to the kennel to be put up. I inspected the other dog and saw that the damage to the chest was pretty serious to say the least. We knew if he can do that kind of damage at an early age, he was going to be something special later on when he grew up.
At 20 months, Deuce was called out to go into a seasoned dog that was known locally as one that couldn’t be beat, Gr Ch Lucky. Deuce ran straight ahead and plowed into the other dog’s chest and stayed there until Lucky bit down on his leg. Deuce rode the head to keep Lucky’s mouth off of him. Deuce kept shaking on Lucky’s head and Lucky fell to the ground trying to get a hold from the bottom. Before Lucky bit Deuce, Deuce grabbed Lucky by the back of his head and literally shook the life out of him. Lucky’s handler picked his dog up lifeless. Deuce was now a 1xw. Deuce really didn’t need any recovery time as he was only bitten in the leg. It didn’t take long for word to spread about what had been witnessed at the Deuce/Lucky show. We were contacted again soon after. The next dog came up from FL. to try his luck. This dog was said to be a very game and smart old dog named Razor. Gr Ch. Deuce demolished Razor in short order taking out his chest and throat very early. Deuce was now a 2xw at the 14 minute mark.

It was decided that Deuce would be bred to a few of our best females to see if he could produce some offspring that had the same characteristics of himself. We figured it was time for us to get something off of him just in case we had an untimely accident with him. About 6 months after his 2nd showing, he was again called out to go into a Champion they called Bo Bo. On the command “Let go” Deuce went straight to the chest and pushed Bo Bo into a corner and tried to dig his heart out before Bo Bo could get a good hold. Deuce stayed in the same spot and worked it violently. He kept pushing into Bo Bo’s chest area and the swelling and leaking was evident, Deuce was doing a lot of damage and Ch Bo Bo seemed to be running out of gas really fast. Bo Bo started cur snapping at Deuce in the head and face area and when a handle was called on Bo Bo, he didn’t scratch. Deuce flew over for his courtesy. Deuce was now Ch Deuce.

For his next outing, Deuce went into a 2xw that supposedly had it all and was going to be tough to beat. It was Deuce’s easiest show. Buster tried to shoot straight into Deuce’s backend, but he never made it there. Deuce grabbed Buster by the nose and crushed it, you could hear the bones crushing. We then got a hold on Deuce and gave Buster a scratch. Buster showed to be a game one, he scratched back into Deuce once but didn’t have enough after Deuce hit his marks all over again.

For Deuce’s final show he went into a Ch from MS. The other dog beat Deuce to the punch and went into Deuce’s chest and legs but when it counted Deuce would punish the chest and throat. The back-end on the other dog gave out at the 15 minute mark and he quit biting soon after. Deuce played with Ch Spook for another 15 minutes. It was Spook’s turn to scratch, but Spook stood there. Deuce could hardly be held in the corner and went back like a rocket. It was all said and done in 36 minutes. Deuce is now a Gr Ch who earned every bit of it. He has since been producing some nice prospects for us that will hopefully carry on Deuce’s name as a producer and also make a name for themselves. Everybody who saw Gr Ch Deuce work will agree to his Freakish Mouth.

RECORDS:
Gr Ch Lucky – 57 lbs – 36 min
Gr Ch Razor – 55 lbs – 14 min
Ch Bo Bo – 55 lbs – 15 min
Buster 2xw – 56 lbs – 12 min
Ch Spook – 57 lbs – 36 min

CAPITAL KENNELS' GRAND CHAMPION OSIRIS DOY 2015

Grand Champion Osiris was born on the 31st of December, 2009 from a litter of four male pups sired by Gr Ch Croata and out of CAPITAL KENNELS' Locka Jr, a deep game female that - after giving birth to this litter - unfortunately passed away after winning over KILLER COMBINE's BLACK RAIN. Osiris was red hot from an early age - the dominant male of the litter - It is no wonder that he was our pick of the litter.

Osiris' first roll took place at the young age of 12 months against an Iceday dog. Osiris stopped him in just a few minutes showing a lot of intensity and determination.
His second roll was against a black dog bred down from Angus, a one time winner with a pedigree of Jeep/Rascal on the top and Mayday on the bottom. Now, this dog was a really tough chest dog but Osiris took care of him in a convincing manner. For Osiris' third roll we traveled 8 hours by car to face a really tough Mayday/ Carver cross but it was really worth the effort, since Osiris showed to be a game dog, going back and forth with this one. For his final roll Osiris faced a brother of the Mayday/Carver dog but this time he was the top dog from the beginning to the end, finishing his opponent in the square. It became obvious that the time had come to enter the big league...

ANIKIA KENNEL’S KING

For his first outing Osiris was hooked at 49 lbs. - two pounds under Osiris' ideal weight - into Anikia Kennels King, a dog heavy in Mayday/Carver blood, double bred
on Southern Kennels' Clyde, GR CH Croata's grand-dam. On the day of the show Osiris looked way too weak and underweight while King looked very strong and sharp,
right out of the box, but there wasn't really much we could do...so it was on! Osiris came out like never before trying to punish his opponent chest while King was working
the head and face, at 1:00 Osiris was down with a pretty beat up head , but he eventually switched his style and started controlling King, then switched to the throat
and started TO work. A turn was called and at 1:20 and the scratching started. 15 scratches were completed by each before King stood the line at 1:40 with Osiris scratching like a freight train to win his first, showing everyone how deep game he is.

RANGER KENNEL’S STEFO

For his second, Osiris was hooked into Ranger Kennels' Stefo a Frisco/Mayday bred dog. This one was hooked at 54 pounds, 2 above Osiris' ideal pitweight. We were at our home and right on weight. Osiris came out controlling his opponent by the ear and Stefo wasn't even able to touch him. At 30 minutes Osiris started to finish him. At 40
minutes Stefo a down dog and Osiris was putting him out by the neck. His owner made the right decision to pick him up on time. Stefo completed his courtesy scratch and Osiris, once again, scratched like a bullet.

GLADIADORES PIT KENNEL’S YAGO

Osiris was hooked for this one against Gladiadores Kennels' Yago from Peru in a convention organized by Destroyer Kennels. Yago was a really tough and game Redboy/Jocko dog weighting 52 pounds. Osiris was on his ideal weight for the first time. We drove 28 hours for this one, and Osiris looked phenomenal. The trip did not affected him at all. Both dogs dead on weight and show was on. Osiris came out fast and as usually he was in defensive mode, controlling Yago by the ear. Yago was able a few times to get Osiris' chest and managed to do some minor damage. Osiris did not let him stay there for much. At 37 Yago was running hot and Osiris went straight to the neck to start finishing off. At 55 Osiris shuts Yago's pipes off leaving him unconscious. It was too late. Once flied across the box like a rocket to earn his Championship and his first Best In Show Trophy!

HCR & BLACKROCKS KENNEL’S DAVE

We were called out by HCR kennels with his 2xw, 1xgl Dave dog who beat two good dogs in Mexico in the hands of Blackrocks and one in Peru, showing a good mouth and
game. We hooked Osiris at 52 pounds and once again we traveled to Lima to the International Convention organized by Vendetta Kennels. The show did not started on
time, we had many inconveniences with the other party and they were trying to delay the show as much as they could. SEVEN hours later they finally agreed to pay the
forfeit for not showing up on time. Osiris was one pound underweight and Dave was dead on 52. Osiris came out, as always, controlling his opponent by the ear, shaking it really hard. Dave tried to swap it out but he has no chance against a pit artist. Around the 30 minute mark Osiris went straight to the neck. Dave had no chance and Osiris went on to finish him off. The other party conceded the fight at 39. Dave completed a game scratch. Osiris earned his second Best In Show that night!

BLACKROCKS KENNEL’S CATERPILLAR

We were called out again, this time by the well known Joyero of Blackrocks Kennels from Mexico for the International Convention held in Ecuador. Osiris was hooked
at 52 and on the day of the show both dogs were sharp on the weight. We entered the pit against Caterpillar, a son of the renowned CH Comino and GR CH Candy. Osiris
as usual was controlling Cat but this time Cat was able to get in the chest and stifles few times. Osiris did not let him stay there much and started to control the fight more
and more and was able to do his finishing move deep in the trachea, causing a huge hematoma on Cat. At 28 minutes Blackrocks concede the fight making Osiris a Grand
Champion. Osiris was in-controllable in his corner showing he is a complete package, good, intelligent fighter and finisher as well! Osiris has shown in all his matches to be a complete pitdog. He by far has been the most intelligent animal I had the pleasure to handle inside the square. A once in a life time dog. Grand Champion Osiris is now retired as a stud dog and so far we have seen a lot of greatness passed on in his offspring! He will live the good life as a family pet in our home. We want to thank to all the people involved in this special achievement, G.O. for his complete support, he made a dream come true: Grand Champion Osiris
