Here are a few tips to help your pet sitting go smooth✨

• Make sure to be clear with your pet sitter about your dogs personalised care💆🏼‍♀️

• Always share contact details of yourself AND your vet for any emergencies🩺

• Provide your sitters with DETAILED instructions — (meals, walks, medication timings)🦮

• Leave behind your dogs favourite items for them to be play with🦴🧸

•Assign atleast 15 minutes before you leave to meet your sitter to make sure you’re comfortable🫂

You probably want to share all the delicious things you eat with your pup.
We know how hard it can get to resist those puppy eyes. But they can cause all sorts of health problems. Here are a few foods that are best avoided for your dog, no matter how adorable they look when they ask for it: 🚩

🥂Alcohol must be kept out of the reach of dogs because it can cause severe poisoning. Poisoning may cause symptoms such as seizures or breathing difficulties that need hospitalization and supportive care.

🍄Pets may become ill within 15 minutes of nibbling on these mushrooms or symptoms may be delayed for up to 6 hours. The muscarinic mushroom is a noted variety that causes vomiting and diarrhea. Pets may become weak and dehydrated.

🍫-Chocolate is toxic because it contains a chemical called theobromine, as well as caffeine. Theobromine is the main toxin in chocolate and is very similar to caffeine.

🧅 🧄 There is a compound found in these foods called N-propyl disulfide. This compound damages oxygen-carrying red blood cells. This causes hemolysis which leads to anemia. Anemia itself is a dangerous condition for our pets, but it can also lead to severe organ failure or death.

🍇 Unfortunately, even consuming one grape or raisin can be fatal. Ingesting the fruit could potentially lead to acute (sudden) kidney failure in dogs.

6 safe foods to keep your dog hydrated this summer ☀️🌊🌴🌸

🍉 The fruit itself is a health-food powerhouse, low in calories and packed with nutrients—vitamins A, B6, and C, and potassium. Plus, the fruit has only about 50 calories a cup and 92 percent water, so it's great for hydration on a hot day.

🍈It contains a lot of water, so it helps your pet stay hydrated. The vitamins A and C present in muskmelons are great for your dawgie. It also helps him stay free of constipation.

🥥While there's no substitute for water, coconut water can be a nice treat for your dog. It's full of electrolytes that can help keep your dog hydrated and even give them a boost of energy as it's full of nutrients like potassium, calcium and vitamin C.

🫛 Green beans are rich in dietary fiber as well as vitamins like vitamin C and A, which both support your dog's immune health. Green beans themselves are not only safe for dogs, but veterinarians also recommend them as a healthy treat

🥒Cucumbers are an excellent, healthy treat. They are especially good for pets that need to lose weight, as their low-calorie content offers some rewards without the rolls. Cucumbers also have high water content. This crunchy vegetable is actually 96 percent water, which makes it a tasty and hydrating summer treat.

🍶Curd has high levels of protein and is easy to digest. It is also low in calories. Dogs would not become obese or overweight because of curd.

➡️ If you've just taught them to “stay” for example, that's a brand new baby skill.
Their stay is at preschool level.
Don't expect them to stay in a super distracting situation right off the bat. Gradually build up your difficultly level and allow your dogs to take time to learn!

It takes time to learn a skill and get it strong and solid!💯✅

A dog who’s been taught a solid, reliable ‘stay’ is almost always safer than a dog that’s untrained.

Why is it so important for your dog to know how to stay?🤔🤔
Imagine a visitor comes to your home. Without understanding ‘stay’, your dog could bolt out the front door!!

During walks, without a reliable ‘stay’ cue, your dog may dart after an animal, unaware of oncoming traffic or other hazards.
Even inside the home, ‘stay’ is a useful cue. When you ask your dog to sit while greeting a guest, or to lay down while your family eats dinner, a dog that hasn’t been taught to stay, may bounce right back up from where he’s sitting!!
