Indo-European owned and newly founded in September 2020, Gurgaon Horse Club has taken account of people’s newly found appreciation for outdoor living to create an exciting new concept to redefine how we spend our leisure time. We offer horse-riding lessons, hill trails and horsemanship workshops amongst green leisure space in a professionally run, city location with modern facilities – so that you and your family can regularly get back to nature - just a 20 minute drive from Central Gurgaon.

We now have a budding tropical paradise with lemon, orange, mango, chikoo, grapefruit, jamun, amrood and guava trees - as well as neem, champa, peepal, banyan and fig leaf trees.

Our tree planting drive got off to a great start with the planting of Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Champa, Lemon and Peach trees. Three generations and our family of dogs got in on the act.
Excited to lay the groundwork for a green oasis.
This afternoon sees the start of our planation drive in our new club. We have 4.5 acres right on the edge of the Aravallis – so plenty of space to create a green oasis.
Members will plant trees throughout the club and then tend to that tree – ensuring it grows and thrives. They can decorate it, add their name to it or just generally get creative. Even if they leave Gurgaon (as many of our foreign customers sadly do after their tenure is up), there will always be a piece of them left behind – giving shade and giving fruit to riders of the future.
Hiko from Japan chose three trees for himself and fellow ex-pats Aiko and Ryo and will be among the first to plant today. His favourite is the Champa tree.
At just 7, Shakti with Goldie are competing against kids many years her elder. This weekend at TARC she aced 3 clear rounds and took 3rd in 30cm and an amazing 4th in 60/70cm in the Under 12 competition.
We are proud of you Shakti.
Yesterday, we brought 7 young competitors to TARC of which five were competing for the first time.
It takes so much courage to mount your horse alone and go into a strange arena and perform to watching strangers. Such a big horse, such a small child. And yet, their courage never fails to impress.
Those five little newbies rocked it. All finished their rounds and we even came home with a few medals. Proud of you Ruhan, Takumi, Amber, Yadvi & Vaania. And also of our returners Shakti & Dhruv.
We took home Gold in 40cm with Vaania (Open), Bronze in 30cm (under 12) with Shakti, Bronze in 40cm with Yadvi (under 12) and 4th in 30cm with Takumi and in 70cm with Shakti – both under 12.

We’ve moved and are operational from our new club.
With 5 spacious arenas surrounded by the Aravallis – it’s an oasis from busy urban life.
We’re still building and beautification will take some time, but we really hope to see you soon at our new space. Many thanks to our customers who are patiently accompanying us through the transition.
Gurgaon Horse Club is on the move.
From early July, we’ll be operational from bigger and better premises in Sector 59 – just 3km from our current site.
Our new club features the following
• Five arenas including a full size jumping arena and a dressage arena
• New stables with improved design and capacity for more as we grow
• Club café with garden and playground – perfect for events
• Small animal enclosure – chickens, rabbits, pigs
• Onsite parking – no more road parking
• Right on the Aravallis – literally go out the gate and enjoy riding in the Aravallis.

So bear with us as we make the move. For now we are still operational at the old site and will update when the move is complete.

That's a wrap on our first summer camp.
The kids worked hard on their jumping with the final jumps for each child ranging from 80cm to 105cm.
Big cheer for Joginder Singh Nain who pushed them hard but always took care of their well-being and fun factor too. Looking forward to 3 more camps next week.
As well as lessons and Aravalli treks, summer camp allows the kids time to really enjoy time with the horses and each other. Today, they enjoyed getting to know baby Pixie and showering horses after their early morning trek.

Our first Summer Camp ‘Jumping with Joginder’ kicked off early this morning. Day 1 was all about back to basics and bonding with horses and fellow riders.
Our camps combine lessons, Aravalli trails, horsemanship (practical and theoretical) as well as fun activities like showering and feeding horses. The riders also get to spend time with each other over breakfast at the cafe and time with the animals – far from the usual hurriedness of school and work pressures.

We welcome our beautiful new girl foal from pony Mama Spirit who was born last night. Papa is our Marwari stallion Prague - so we are curious to see how our little 'powari' turns out. Mother and baby are doing well and a source of great joy at the club.

All three came away with silver in Hacks at Delhi Horse Show - but the real fun come afterwards when friends get to bond and play over a shared passion and experience.
Training a new horse for jumping is an arduous task. Daily sessions, overcoming his/her fears and hesitation and learning new skills – which are then magnified when entering a new ground.
This weekend, after months of training, Yolanda, with Joginder, made her debut at TARC – starting immediately at 1m and 1.05m. Nervous and jittery, she was uncomfortable on strange territory – but it’s all part of the process and we hope the start of a successful jumping career for her.

At Gurgaon Horse Club, we are committed, not just to excellence in riding but also to offering knowledge opportunities around horsemanship.
On this beautiful sunny Saturday, an engaged group of kids and adults learnt about horses from the ground, both in the classroom and in the stable – and got a chance to hang out and bond away from the arena.

What better way than to celebrate birthdays and other occasions than enjoying the winter sun amongst animals and nature.

For many it was their first competition and with courses adapted to their experience and ability – it was a great aspirational opportunity to jump with confidence and ambition.
We salute our brave riders for it takes great courage to compete in front of a crowd with new skills – and every one of them lived up to their potential.

Horse competitions are a day when riders, their families, the club staff and our external judges come together to celebrate and cheer on the progress and sportsmanship of the riders.
The day can be long, sometimes chaotic - but the joy of sharing in community is the feeling that lingers.

We had a wonderful first annual open event yesterday with 7 competing clubs. Our concept is to make horse riding available to all - and especially in competitions - create a fair playing field where like competes with like and our beginners can be inspired to work harder and learn more.
After a full Gymkhana, we spent the afternoon in beginner jumping - here you can see our C4 winners, who have worked so hard for their first competition. Its not an easy feat to be out there alone on your horse in front of a crowd - but our young riders handled it with ease and as a club we feel incredibly proud.

Yesterday we had 6 competitors Horse Show. For five of our riders it was their very first competition including our very own Naisha at just 9 years old. All of them did us proud and we look forward to many competitions together this season.

We’ve got through 2 Covid waves and an involuntary land move and have grown to having 30 equines, 4 trainers, 6 arenas, dozens of farm animals, a café and wonderful students from all over the world.
We’ll be hosting a small celebration on Sunday and posting memories of our early days this week.

Our newest edition to the growing Gurgaon Horse Club family, Dublin under training with @rahul_rider this morning Hang over the horse while moving It is a big change for the horse to carry weight. By walking short distances with the horse in hand while a second person hangs over it, the horse will move easier with weight. Now we are one year old and starting to get into competition mode. From a modest presence at DHS in April, we’re now preparing 16 Gymkhana kids and a small team of junior jumpers – as well as our own staff – to compete at EFI supported REL/HESA competition this weekend at RTC, Gurgaon.
