In the ongoing COVID pandemic, genomics based technologies have been at the forefront in the fight against the virus. Identification of mutations and variants is one of the most important aspects to keep a check on the pandemic. Genome surveillance by tracking the spread of variants and evolution of the virus is essential to develop/optimise diagnostics tests and vaccines. We at Genotypic have developed an ultra-fast pipeline with a turnaround time of 24-48 hours right from nucleic acid isolation to Clade /variant assignment. Post-outbreak genome surveillance of any virus like Dengue, Measles, Adenovirus, Rabies etc. can be done using this pipeline.
