I am a certified dog trainer, coached by Shirin Merchant, India's leading canine behaviorist and trainer. I do basic obedience training for all breeds, across Mumbai and am not confined to a specific area. My training includes commands such as sit, stay, down, leash walking, fetch, leave and more. I'm also available for dog walking and pet sitting services.

The language that you train the dog in, doesn't matter as long as you get him or her to do tricks. For the first time, I mixed English and Hindi commands, for 5 month old Indie dog Lucy, who followed and picked up beautifully :)

Doing a leash walking session with Duke :) Whenever the dog pulls, either tug at the leash or stop. Wait for the dog to relax and then move. Eventually, with a lot of practice, the dog will start walking next to you. And don't forget to keep praising the dog:)
