Week back i made one stupid mistake in my reef tank. Reef keeping is not only about successfully reef also about reef mistakes. As my No3 level is zero so i started to dose No3 for about 2 weeks and i got some good results but the issue started when i cant able to keep the dosing bottle near the surface so i moved the the bottle to the top and kept near the dosing pump itself. Everything is drip acclimated then will go into a bath of Coral RX with the exception of clams and nems. In my opinion Coral RX is very good and I heard many say not to use it sps. I will adjust the dip time based on my gut feeling. SPS I will dip for a for like 1-2min while zoas and such on suspicious looking rock I will dip for 3 minutes. [ 451 more words. ]

New Blue Treasure SPS salt review I've been very pleased with the salt so far. The best thing is how quickly it mixes, within 30 minutes of adding it to my RODI water it's back to a clear colour and ready to be used. The salt I used before (red sea coral pro) would take 2-3 hours to go back to a clear colour and would also leave calcium residue on my mixing container and heaters. [ 134 more words. ]

magnesium dosing I have not covered about magnesium dosing in blog,today i will give more details on that. First buy magnesium chloride and magnesium sulphate. Then take 1.45kg of magnesium chloride and 190gm of magnesium sulfate. Then take 2 liters of water and add 1.45kg of magnesium chloride and mix it,then 1.7liters of water to mix magnesium sulfate. As hobbyist our first time to save these corals and we know most of the coral death are due to over population , fishing and climate change only few % of corals are taken for the hobby. But still we have to save that few % of the coral that are taken out of sea for the hobby. So from now we should avoid buying local corals and what hobbyist is should do is fragging the corals,we dont have the habit of sharing the corals and we dont frag them also that the sad part. From today itself i planned to run my skimmer on timer and planned to turn off the skimmer for 1hr in the morning time. Just checking if i turn off the skimmer for 1hr daily will increase the no3 or po4. It can help me to save from power bill also can reduce the water heat from pump,if you like to try the same make sure you stop at morning time because at night there will be built up of co2.
