Just a little information on our upcoming workshop
Growling is not DANGEROUS it's just COMMUNICATION.
When you PUNISH the growl the dog will resort to BITING.
Dogs GROWL to let you know that they would like you to back away because your body language is intimidating for them.
As a Canine Behaviourist I'm happy to be around dogs that growl rather than one's that bite out of nowhere
#princelypaws
There are 7 different kinds of barks can you name them in the comments section?
It's important to understand why your dog could be lunging at kids. Lunging(barking and charging while on leash) is a distance creating behaviour that the dog does to keep the "stressful trigger" away which is often mistaken as aggressive behaviour.
An effective way to manage this behaviour is to avoid stressful trigger in question.

Unlocking the Language of Paws: A Guide to Choosing the Perfect Animal Communicator
Here are some factors to consider before you hire an animal communicator:
1. Credentials and Experience:
Look for animal communicators with verifiable credentials and a proven track record. Experience and a background in animal behavior, psychology, or related fields can enhance the communicator's ability to understand and interpret the messages they receive.
2. Client Testimonials and Reviews:
Check for client testimonials and reviews. Positive feedback from other pet guardians/parents can provide insights into the communicator's effectiveness. Look for reviews that discuss specific details and accuracy in the communication sessions.
3. Clarity of Communication:
A skilled animal communicator should be able to provide clear and specific information from the animal. They should convey details that resonate with you and your pet. Vague or general statements may raise doubts about the communicator's abilities.
4. Ethical Practices:
Ensure that the animal communicator adheres to ethical practices. This includes respecting the privacy and well-being of both you and your pet. Be cautious if the communicator makes promises that sound too good to be true or if they claim to have the ability to diagnose illnesses, reunite you with your lost pet etc. For an animal communicator's role is just to be a messenger.
5. Communication Process and Fees:
Understand the communicator's process for communication sessions. This may involve in-person sessions, phone consultations, or remote communication. Additionally, clarify the fees for their services. Some animal communicators charge per session or per hour, so make sure you are comfortable with the terms.
