Immediate Pet groomer requirement opening in Goa for our Goa, India, porvorim store. We only have a store in Goa, India, so kindly do not apply if you cannot join. Please do not apply if you are a fresher.

Job responsibility:
Minimum 2+years grooming experience on dogs & cats. Please ensure that you know how to groom cats too as this is an opening for both categories. You will need to send videos of you actually in grooms with dogs and cats - bathing, brushing, trimming/shaving & styling.

You need Patient, caring and love for animals is a must.

Accommodation can be provided. Salary package will be discussed based on experience and accommodation criteria.

Minimum salary 23,000/- starting & can be discussed. Need to start immediately. Food will not be provided. Amenities such as gas, stove, fridge, washing machine, Aquaguard water filter will be provided.

Working six days a week.

Moto vehicle will be provided. Valid riding license is a must. Vehicle maintenance will need to be maintained.

Able to communicate with customers, scheduling appointments & managing our small boutique store.

Need to speak Hindi & English (a little also is ok)

You will need to care for the in-house cats - feeding, potty cleaning, bathing as required, vet visits if needed until they are relocated or adopted out.

We are urgently seeking 2 housekeeping/ petcaretaking/ reception staff who can multitask. Candidate should preferably from sourrounding areas of Guirim, have own Moto vehicle and riding/driving license. Working six days a week. Public holidays will be compensated as required.

Pay package: starting salary between ₹13,000 - 15,000 plus incentives based on sales in-store.

Your Job responsibilities include:

1) keeping the pet space clean at all times.
2) maintaining sanitary & hygiene levels indoor & outdoor.
3) receiving & making calls to clients.
4) coordinating check-in & check-out processes for all dogs & cats being boarded, daycare & groom appointments.
5) outdoor jobs using office vehicle.
6) help and assist with other jobs as required as we also do outreach programs.

Person needs to have the genuine love for dogs & cats. Patience to work with animals and supervise playtime & control temperaments.

A little about our founder Donabelle Zuzart Weisser..

A rescuer as a child I have always known and wanted to be a part of animals lives - to better it in any and every way I could, this has drowned me into post care after rescue and rehabilitation for dogs being rescued from the meat trade here in Cambodia. Me, along with our caring team put all our combined efforts together to make sure all is smooth sailing.

After moving to Cambodia in 2013 with my husband Jan and our Cocker Spaniel who we flew down from Goa, I wanted to do something that I loved with my soul and was driven by passion. Working with Pets is always something I loved putting my heart & soul into while giving me sublime peace, this gave birth to Cambodia’s first and only run Pet Spa “Pet Grooming Cambodia” besides having the salon side of it with grooming packages to meet all pets daily needs like washes, shaves/trims, foot pad clean ups, ear & teeth clean up etc..we have something for every pooch & kitty to feel loved and pampered! Pet massages were not heard of and often people still find it funny to grasp. However, learning how beneficial treatments can be for pets in the long run hasn’t stopped me from living my dreams and making them a reality.

We run a homestay style/ pet boarding properties in Phnom Penh, which I personally live at and which Chrisella - an avid animal lover, who used to be living here with and trained here for 2.5 years before moving back to India. Our concept built in the year I and Jan were going to get married and were looking for appropriate accommodation for Tinkerbelle as we couldn't bear the thought that our nine year gentle girl would be locked in a crate or a room. This gave birth to “Pet Sitting Cambodia” Aka “Pet Services Cambodia” From then on there has been no stopping and we are constantly expanding and evolving to add add new services to make it a one stop spot for all animal owners or simply volunteers. From working closely with The Animal Hope & Wellness since 2015 to date we have helped to relocate all the dogs rescued, and personally flown down to drop a batch in February 2018 & 2019 and was happy that I was able to meet all the previous dogs who are adopted out to wonderful families in USA & the current batch we dropped of 19 rescues are in process of being adopted. To date we have also assisted with over 250 pet relocations all across the globe by working closely with our shipping partners or simply offering our assistance to stressed out clients by offering help with airport check-in formalities, applying for export permits, vet health certificates, third country certificates, screw worm certificates for people looking for their pets to be cleared and taken care of until their departure to their respective countries. We also help with Pet cremation services and sell 100% Bio degradable pet urns imported from Spain which can be activated at any point with seeds of your choice once planted.

Our recent extension to our services include our Pet Kitchen Cambodia food keeping in mind that every pets needs are different. The brands we carry we personally use with our own pets which comprises now of our dogs Snoopy, Sasha, Dustin Bambi, Kun’no, Coco, Cracker, Mercy & five cats - Garfield, Princess Laya, Mimi, Asher and JJ of which four are slaughter house dogs, four Cambodian street cat rescues, Sasha is re-homed dog and Snoopy a rescue I flew again from Goa. So our household keeps us pretty much on our toes! We also use 100% human grade consumption meat we use for pre cooked food options, for sale and treats which are all fit for human consumption with added seasoning of your choice. Besides this we have a range of sturdy, good quality toys and training gear.
