The female dog named KUKI ( age around 8-9 years) is missing since Wednesday from SSG hospital, main entrance of Medical college, Raopura.
Identification marks - Currently she have bald patches over back region.
She have cataracts in both eyes. She can’t see properly.
Also there are chances that she might lost due to firecrackers and DJ sound of Ganpati.
So please let us know if you seen her around areas like Raopura to Kalaghoda and jail road area.

Street dogs are sterilised/vaccinated in the corporation area by Humane Society International India in collaboration with the Vadodara Municipal corporation.

Is there a need to humanely sterilise street dogs in your society? Contact us if there is. With your cooperation, it is possible to gradually control the growing population of Vadodara City street dogs. To establish an environment of peaceful co existence with dogs it is essential that we all work together. Your active participation in the project will bring positive results.

How to recognise a sterilised dog : if the ear of the dog is notched or cut, then you can safely assume that the dog is sterilised and vaccinated against rabies.

*Also please note* :
• Female dogs who are lactating and pregnant are not eligible for Sterilisation.
• Dog's weight must be a minimum 6 kg for it to be sterilised.
•Dogs who have health issues. e.g. Fever, continued treatment,female in heat, canine distemper, mange or any severe skin issues, weight below 6 Kg can not be sterilised till they fully recover
•Care taker/feeder, must request to visit the facility to meet their community dogs, sometimes dogs which are too attached to their caretakers get very stressed and shocked and that leads to death in some cases.

Dear Animal lovers and Caretakers of stray animals in Vadodara city..
Sharing my concern over putting collors on the dogs you are feeding or taking care off and then forget to check them regularly or searching them if they are missing from their place. I found this dog in MSU campus having regular red collor on him and suffering from such sever skin infection with no hair left on body. Severely malnourished and hiding as other dog bite him due to ill look and condition. Blood is coming out from several scratch marks on his body.
I have started feeding and medication of this dog and he become friendly in just two days of care and showing signs of improvement.
Sincere request.. If you are putting collors then do take responsibility of regular timely checks too as looking on the collors other feeders or caretakers will assume that someone is taking care of him.
