Now that we are back in full swing…please don’t forget to pm us to keep up with your pups regular appointments! We typically recommend for all coat types to keep with a 4-6week schedule for grooming to keep them looking cute and stylish 😉 Thank you to all those who booked with us this new year and a thank you to all our new clients!

We would like to let everybody know that beginning the new year that dematting fees will be in-forced. This along with any added coat management due to any lack of keep up.

Why you may ask? Matting in a coat can be extremely painful for dogs. When left uncombed for so long the knots can get so close to the skin that they cut blood circulation causing extreme discomfort. Matting at times can not be untangled and for the health and comfort of your dog has to be shaved in that circumstance. At home parents should be daily brushing their long coated dogs to prevent this…focus on where their harness or collar sits. We as humans brush our hair daily so our dogs are no different. Dematting when possible takes a lot of extra time, discomfort to the dog and as well damages our equipment.

Any other type of added maintenance like compaction as well require lots of added time to our schedules and product. A friendly reminder we are only two people. The grooming prices listed are only base prices. Starting the new year we will be adjusting our prices when needed.

We will only be grooming week days from 8am-4pm. If for some reason this doesn’t work for you please message us.

A little info on socialization to start your day! There’s a fine line between what people think socialization is and what it should be! Creating neutrality and confidence in any situation your dog or puppy comes across makes for a better relationship between your and your dog and also your dog and the outside world💚

Merry Christmas and happy new year to all!

As our last post was made we announced no grooming for November and limited for December. Unfortunately due to family emergencies and pre arrangements that can not be moved we will be having to extend our closed appointments for full grooms till January.

We understand possible frustration from this and we sincerely apologize.

We would like to remind everybody that we are only two people. We have been working diligently on providing the best services with as flexible availability that we can whilst also meeting our other responsibilities and home lives. These circumstances came as a surprise as all emergencies do along with falling in with the holidays.

Services that WILL be available between now and January: baths, profile trims and walk in services.

We will NOT be offering full hair cuts at this moment till the schedule is back and running in January.

Some of you may be getting direct messages here soon so please keep an eye out for that. Thank you all again for understanding and supporting us through this. We wish everybody happy holidays!

January schedule will be out mid to late December…regular clients will be getting first dibs on appointments and those who have joined our wait list will be getting second. If you would like to join our waitlist as a new client for full grooms or would like to schedule any of our services that will be offered for the time being please message us directly.

This boy is my whole heart. He had his first day of work as a therapy dog on Wednesday and KILLED it and his second day today. He absolutely had so much fun and loved loving on all the service members he got to meet. October 5th was his official one year gotcha day. I could not be more proud of how far my dude had come. I’m so beyond proud of him and all that he has become and accomplished in this year. He really came to me at the time i needed him most. I can’t be more thankful for him. Love you buddy.

Sorry for the long wait for our October dates but as one of us is moving to a new house along with the other having a possible family emergency we had to carefully choose dates to suit both schedules.

We will be having no grooming for the month of November along with very few select dates available for December. December dates are yet to be determined.

From street dogs to good canine citizens. Gandolf passed his test with flying colors. All the work I’ve put into him has paid off and I’m so beyond proud of of him. And super proud of Azul Aleman’s dog pesto for passing her test at only 6 months old!! They both are on their way to getting officially certified to be therapy dogs💚 I cannot say how proud I am bc a year ago I found this dude on the street and he’s come so far💚🥹

🐾new service available🐾

We will now be offering brushing as a single service. This will be 10 dollars for every 15 minutes of brushing. This can be a walk in service such as nails, a**l glands and hygiene packages.

Life gets busy and hectic…we are here to take care of your fur babies in any way we can during those hard/busy times.

As a side note: We also highly suggest communicating to your sitters or friends that watch your pups about your pups grooming needs. As myself and Sami’s Critters Incorporated are sitters ourselves we are here to meet all your dogs needs when in our care which also includes daily brushing for coat types that need it. This should be held as a standard by all pet care takers as these too are needs like water and food for your dogs.

In honor of pride month, I’d love to share one of the most fun dye jobs I’ve ever done💚 fun fact, stamping fur with celery makes for the best cheetah print! If anyone is interested in creative grooms like this, comment down below and depending on the amount of interest, I’d LOVE to start offering this as a service.
