Good morning
I hope everyone is enjoying the your visit - feels like the sun is playing the hokey kokey! keeping us on our toes and in our raincoats 🤣
Please can I ask everyone to pay attention to their dogs particularly in the first part of their visit.
We are receiving some concerning messages from guests saying that they are finding multiple poos in the field that are not from their own dogs. Most guests collect them out of courtesy and respect for us and future visitors when they see them, but they really should not need to if all guests collect their own waste.
We work very hard to keep this facility a lovely place to visit and enjoy safe free space for your dogs. I would be really very grateful if you could help us eith achieving this.
To receive these complaints is very disappointing and upsetting, but we are confident that the majority of our guests are vigilant and we are grateful for that.

I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Makes a lovely change from the rain 🤣

Hi Everyone,

We hope you’re all well and enjoying this lovely weather today 🙂.

Traffic has been a little challenging recently in our area for a multitude of reasons so we fully understand why some guests may arrive a little early for their booking. All that we ask is if you do arrive early, please you could park in the pull in just before Cornflower, or the car park in St Pierre Woods, or opposite Daisy in kite bush wood parking until the guest prior has exited and field is free.
One of the many reasons guests use our facilities is for exercising reactive dogs. It can be very difficult and sometimes cause animals stress if they see other people or dogs close to them so to avoid this please can you respect the distance until it is your time to visit the field.

As always Daisy begins and ends on the hour, whilst Cornflower begins and ends half past the hour.

Good afternoon everyone,

We have finished changing our booking system from Facebook to Simplybook.
Facebook may be catching up to the changes today. The "Book Now" button will change to "Shop Now", if this has not happened then please refresh the page/reload your app.
This button will link to our webpage on Simplybook. We've also added the links to our about us section on Facebook.
The new website will allow you to place 1 or more bookings, for either field, and pay at the time of the booking.

Thank you for your patience, hopefully this will be a quicker and easier process for everyone

Good Morning Everyone

All at Longmeadow hope you are all having a lovely day.

This message is to let you know that following the issues we have experienced with our existing booking process on facebook, we have decided to change our booking system. This is so that your experience booking our fields for a visit will become easier.

Our site will remain on facebook, to book your field for a visit you can use the book now button that takes you to Simplybook. Initially you will be asked to add your email address for confirmations and your telephone number – but that is only required once.

We will be going live with the new system later this afternoon.

Any existing bookings will be added to the new system and should be paid for using the existing account. Any new bookings will have a new account to pay into through Simplybook.

We aim to make this transition as seamless as possible, but if you experience any problems please text me.

We apologies for any inconvenience this causes, but feel confident that the new booking system will make the booking process much easier for all.

Hi Everyone
We wanted to let you know the paddling pools will be available after 21st June
The delay is because we have no mains water in the fields and need to replace the tow hitch for the bowser. Unfortunately we cannot get it fitted until 21st June and I am a little too old to carry water from the cottage every day. Already have a dodgy back😅
Rather than you think we will not be putting them out this year we wanted to let you know why there is a delay

Hello Everyone,

There seems to be an issue with Facebook events and the times that bookings are showing for some of our customers in messenger. I’m able to replicate the issue and it’s showing UTC-8. For now we have turned off the reminders, but please rest assured, if you’ve requested a slot that’s been accepted in the ‘book now’ or manually requested availability and we have confirmed, the slot is booked.

As in interim solution, we will confirm back the time of the booking manually.

Hopefully Facebook fixes this ASAP, but if anyone knows of a fix, please reach out to me - 07967 188628. I’ve tried to find one but I’m falling short 🙈.

You now have the facility to check availability for ‘Cornflower’ our new field.
We have some availability for tomorrow if you would like to exercise your dog in a secure field that you have private use of, practice low level agility, have fun throwing a ball in the 2 acre field or sit at one of the picnic benches or in the shelter area and relax.
