Foster or adopter needed for Blitzen! This 95-pound baby is dog and kid friendly.
- He is smart and treat motivated: Knows & responds to "Come," "Sit," "Paw," "Down,” & “No.”
- He loves running in a fenced yard, enjoying walks, and is a great jogging partner.
- Dog-Friendly: He is social at the dog park, makes friends easily, and never tries to be the alpha.

Currently in Hamilton, NJ.

I wanted to update everyone on our sweet girl Mamas. This has been such a rollercoaster of emotions. There’s really no other way to describe it lol. So to keep it somewhat short.. she had her specialist appt today with cardiology at red bank. The diagnosis is Pericarditis (inflammation of the heart sac). The specialist was able to drain the fluid that was putting pressure on her heart.
-why this happened? unknown.
-cure? could be just this one draining… but, if not, fluid around heart may return in weeks, months, or a year. If it returns 3x=surgery to remove sac around heart.

before, we drained fluid in abdomen 2x. it was secondary to the fluid around heart.

as far as i am understanding, this is good news. the doctor said he’s pretty certain it’s not cancer. now we basically just wait to see if it returns or not.

she is stopping all meds and getting used to her heart not being ‘strangled’ anymore, so, we have to be lazy the next few days. lol. perfectly fine with me🤪

mamas is SO loved. thank you all who have asked about her. (and donated! her vet bill today was $1400, TY💗)

mamas was drained of her fluid again on friday. she feels great after the procedure but it just a bandaid. it is highly suspected to be heart related, we would like to take her to a cardiologist at red bank. it’s $700 for an echocardiogram & consult. i feel like a broken record asking for donations for her but truthfully i’ve been paying for her care myself minus the donations who were specifically for her (thank you❤️). if there’s any chance to extend her life or even a slight hope at a longterm treatment i don’t want to stop trying now.

the shelter dogs at Atlantic County Animal Shelter are out of dog treats ☹️ this list has some of the treats the dogs would really love: for $5-20 you can make some shelter dogs VERY happy 😊 if you buy from the list they will get sent to me and I’m at the shelter weekly to volunteer so I will drop them off! Or you can drop them off if you'd like of course!

(I used to have it as the shelter address but sometimes the mail people dont deliver it there and the shelter has to go get it, I figured its more convenient for them if i get the treats, unbox them, and bring it in a bag when I go in on weekends) :)
