People who would like to help, but cannot foster:
We would love more volunteers who can spend time with a dog for a day, a weekend, or even just a few hours—whatever works for you! This helps us get better photos to boost their adoption chances and allows us to learn more about each dog from a different perspective. Foster for Bambina? She is the SWEETEST little bambina❤️❤️❤️ you can hold her like a baby and rub her belly and she looks at you and smiles. She’s only 5 months old. She is tiny, maybe 8lbs? (I’m bad at guessing. She’s easy to pick up lol) dog friendly. She’s a baby so can assume good with cats but may want to play. Doesn’t stop wagging tail!

If anyone can foster or foster to adopt, id love to leave today with her while I am here at the shelter.

location : i can help bring her to you between Atlantic county to Gloucester county if needed. (Will post the route I’m driving later, in comments). I will also be in Ventnor & AC today if close to there.

Look what love can do for a dog 🥰 this is Tanya! She has been with us for about a year and a half. She was a nervous mess when we rescued her from the shelter. She came from a bad situation. The first picture you can see how nervous she was in new surroundings. Look at her now! Nadia has been fostering Tanya, putting her in cute sweaters, and spoiling her like a princess! It was a perfect match, and Tanya just upgraded from foster home to forever home! Yay Tanya!🩷🐾

Guess who left the shelter today…. Carmen!!!!! 🩷! She was in the shelter for months so she’s got a little decompressing to do & a few pounds to gain, but she was all wags leaving the shelter & just wants attention! Shes the biggest love and we are so happy to have her as the newest waggy butt! 🐾🩷🐾

HELP NEEDED ASAP (different things - pick up a dog today; temp foster; long term foster)
**Help with any of this will be saving lives because the shelter is 10000% Full!!! Dogs have to leave one way or another!! Lets get them out safe!!!***

Can anyone:
1.Go get Carmen for me from the shelter in Pleasantville BEFORE 4 TODAY and hold her until I get done work. I will be getting done work at 5:30 in Ocean View. If she is held somewhere around Cape May County, Atlantic County, up to Gloucester County that would be ideal. (****EDIT: this, #1, is covered TY!**** Still need help with 2 + 3 below)

2. Could anyone temp foster her (you can chose how long when you start and end - I will have her at my house but I have other fosters so this would be a huge help) or long term foster

3. Temp OR Long term foster Bryce (second photo) hes dog friendly. Amazing with male dogs, was good but flirty with my female testers. Hes young, a year old.

ORRR, if you don't like either of these two dogs but want to foster PLEASE let me know what you are looking for and I am sure we will be able to get you a perfect match.

We rescued Maggie a month ago. She was a bit timid and nervous but warmed up very quickly in her foster home who showered her with love! Her foster fur siblings also helped her open up and show her sweet personality even more. Welll Maggie was right where she was meant to be all along! Her foster home is now her forever home. Yay Maggie! 🩷

BIG MUSH ALERT 🚨

This is Mary, the BEST cuddle bug you will ever meet.. She is around 3 years old, spayed, housebroken, not destructive, amazing in the car/crate, and just friendly with everyone. We did do some dog introductions outside and she was so good with them! She didn’t play rough or obnoxious, just prefers to play for a second and go on with her day. Mary is overall very easy going…If you want a little couch potato, she’s your girl! Mary also loves to run around and play, so if you want a walking buddy, she would also be an amazing fit for you!
Mary is such a special girl. She snores and cuddles super hard, it’s the funniest thing to listen to her🩷 She’s the cutest little happy and easy dog, with an adorable underbite too. Mary does amazing in the crate when I go to work for a few hours, and just sleeps the whole time. She loves to walk around and watch me do things, and definitely checks in to get some affection! Doesn’t whine or bark at all, just oinks around and snores. In an apartment she has been so well behaved and is super good when friends/family are in and out. You can tell she just wants to be cozy at home.. This baby is truly perfect! Having her around has been amazing. She deserves the best family.
Mary is an awesome dog who just wants to hang out and be appreciated. This girl would be the perfect dog for anyone who is looking for a cuddle companion to make them smile!🩷

Can anyone’s foster LeBron starting asap?
-Born March 17, 2024
-UTD on vaccines, not neutered yet (foster must take to neuter appt).
-Gets along with all dogs
-Lives with cats

He’s super sweet & playful, not shy at all (not afraid of anything) & gets along well with kids. He doesn’t bark unless someone knocks or rings the door.

He’s a puppy so he can and WILL get into trouble (serial dog bed chewer) but doesn’t chew important things lol. If he has bully sticks or chews that tends to steer him away from that behavior.

He is still working on potty training & tends to go to the bathroom 30-45 minutes after eating.

Message me if you can foster him. He will be available to adopt after neuter, foster has first choice to adopt.

Foster or adopt Dash! He is a 3 year old mixed breed dog around 30 lbs.
He loves other dogs! He thrives when he has any other dog around and he is good with dogs of all sizes. We don't know how he is with cats.
He also loves cuddling and attention!
He loves his person but has been getting better with warming up to new people.
He loves playing. We could play fetch for hours and his favorite toy right now is a white tough chewer ball.
ideal home:
• An active home with a solid, consistent routine and minimal periods where he’s left alone.
• A family with kids aged 13+; or adults who can dedicate time to him. He bonds well with women.
• A home with other dogs is a bonus, as he thrives when he has any other dog around and he is good with dogs of all sizes.
• Someone who will keep him active, channel his energy, or give him a “job” or structured activities (a farm setting would be ideal, or a big yard!) A vet said he is likely a working dog breed.

We LOVE Bella! She’s so sweet. We think she’s lab, husky, shepherd. She’s around 3 y/o. Dog friendly. House broken. On the lower energy side - she’s always down to cuddle & watch a movie. She’s a great bed dog! She also will give you her paw to let you know she’s ready for a belly rub. She’s a really wonderful girl!

I did a male dog test today on him & he was wonderful! We need a long term foster.

I’m getting a lot of messages about this sweet dog. Here is all of the info. He is available to foster OR if you want to adopt him, you must foster to adopt him. He needs more vetting and that is why. Once he is vetted, he can be adopted.

He is 1 years old. He’s dog friendly but I did a dog test with 3 other female dogs and he tries to mount them. He is not neutered & also in a kennel all day so that could be a factor. As soon as we can get an appt he will be neutered, and he will calm down in a home environment. That can be worked on.

He loves ball. He drops it for you.
He appears house broken.

I don’t have a cat or kids to test him with so idk if cat or kid friendly. He’s a nice dog.

I initially asked for temp foster so still need that but a long term foster is even better.

Our process: message me first so I can ask questions to make sure it’s a good fit. This is so you don’t waste your time filling out an application if it’s not a good fit, or so we can give you a better fit. If it seems like it will be, I will have you fill out an application. If all checks out- you may meet the dog and begin fostering.

Clark & Stan didn’t find their Valentine 🥹 would anyone be interested in fostering one (or both🤪) of them?
Both are males, around 12 weeks old. They are expected to be 30-40 lbs full grown! If you are interested in adopting you can foster to adopt (because we need to make sure they get all their needed vetting 😊) Fosters have first choice at adoption.
