We wanted to give a happy update about Seymore! I’m sure everyone saw the many posts we made looking for placement for him. On Saturday Seymore went to a foster to adopt home. They said they absolutely love him, he warmed right up to them, and he is so silly and right at home there 💓.

She’s also been learning positive associations with cutting her nails at home as well 🙂

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the passing of beloved Mimi. She had cancer and declined rapidly this week.
Her loving foster mom Deb was the reason she initially left the shelter over a year ago and provided her a home with love, patience, and care. Our hearts are especially heavy for Deb, with knowing how deeply she loved for Mimi as if Mimi was her own dog.
Thank you, Deb for being Mimi‘s angel on earth. She was as lucky to have you as you feel you were lucky to have her.

8 month old Anatolian Shepherd ended up in a North Jersey shelter. He is unsocialized & scared.. just a big baby. Another dog would be helpful to show him how to dog.

Can we find someone who’s crazy for Carmen, as much as Carmen is crazy for stuffies?!
Carmen is at the shelter in need of a foster. She’s so sweet. All the retired mamas are so sweet (she was clearly used for babies 😒)
She loves to be outside and play, especially with squeaky toys. She’s guessed to be around 3 years old.

Mama is our longest resident at over a year being with us. Her person has to be somewhere 💔
She is the easiest dog in the world. She is house broken, non destructive, not a barker.. etc. She just prefers to be the only queen of the house!

Smudge is 4-5 months old, is the runt of the litter, and definitely the most affectionate ❤️ all she wants to do is cuddle. I wake up and she’s sleeping on my head🤣 she gets as close as possible and doesn’t know personal space (in a good way!). If you’re sitting down she climbs in your lap. This sweet girl is so special. She knows sit, is mostly house broken, crate trained, plays very well with other dogs. Cat + kid friendly.

Adopt Bear! We rescued him back in May, and when we rescued him it was his first time outside. He was so scared of everything. He’s come SUCH a long way. Here’s all about Bear:
Location: Princeton, NJ

Bear is a playful and goofy 1 y/o pup who loves to cuddle once he feels safe. He is friendly with dogs he knows and plays well, though introductions with future dog siblings are recommended. He lives with two cats but sometimes chases them playfully. Bear has not been exposed to children but has shown no negative reactions from afar.

Bear knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and is making great progress with housebreaking. He is crate trained but still whines occasionally. His medium-high energy level makes him a great fit for an active family with a secure fenced yard. Bear is currently in a training program to work on socialization.
