Rescue friends and family can you please help me spread the word for Teddy?

Meet Teddy, the 4-year-old Australian Shepherd who's approximately 50-60 pounds, house-trained, and gets along with cats. Has not been socialized with other dogs, but we will be testing with my sweet Fiona. He's ideal for families with older kids (12+ years). Teddy is fully vaccinated, neutered, and in need of a loving home due to his current owner's challenging circumstances. The owner has lost a family member and is working multiple jobs, leaving Teddy outside 24/7 with shelter. Let's find Teddy a new home with an experienced Australian Shepherd owner who can provide the love and care he deserves. References, home checks, and vet checks are a must.
We are willing to transport for the right home. Currently located in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.

MARCH DATES

***We have added large dogs back to the schedule and are currently scheduling for wellness appointments on the weekend days***

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY and please be aware that this clinic consists of a vet, a tech and a volunteer and our prices reflect this. We do not have a receptionist. Emails and inquiries are answered mostly by the tech when she’s not in surgery so please be patient and keep trying to get scheduled if your first attempt isn’t answered immediately. It’s just as easy to send another email as it is to complain that you haven’t been answered😊

We need specific information to get you scheduled and your appointment will be delayed when we have to ask for more information. Please do not send multiple emails within 7 days. This frustrates Dina and you may never get scheduled🤣.

Your email should be sent to [email protected]

Please put CLINIC and what you are trying to schedule in the subject line (male kitten, 2 female rabbits, 30 pound male dog)

The following information needs to be in the email:

Your full name address and phone number.

The name of your pet(s), their age and s*x and description/color.

The services you would like to schedule for such as cat spay, vaccines and microchip, rabbit neuter, feral cat neuter. We can add services at the time of checkin but the more information we have the better we can serve you.

and I will challenge anyone to show us better BBQ than . We know it's delicious! We are addicted.

Hi and welcome to LITTLE Big Talkers! My name is Stephanie, and I am the founder and lead SLP. I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in New Jersey and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Iona University and my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University.

Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with both children and adults in various settings. My work with the geriatric population has included roles in acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, and long term care facility. Within these settings I have provided care to individuals with diverse diagnoses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), Parkinson's disease (PD), and dementia, addressing speech and language disorders, swallowing disorders, and overall communication needs. Through tailored interventions, I have supported patients in regaining vital communication and swallowing abilities, helping improve their quality of life.

In pediatrics, I have worked in preschool, elementary and middle school, private practice, and early intervention services, supporting children and young adults from ages 1 to 21 years old. I have addressed a wide range of speech and language challenges, including apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), expressive and receptive language deficits, fluency disorders, and social communication challenges. These experiences have strengthened my dedication to providing personalized caring support that helps both children and their families. I’ve learned that therapy isn’t just about helping the child—it’s also about supporting and teaching their family, especially parents. By giving families the tools and knowledge they need, I aim to create a team approach where we work together, celebrate progress, and help the child grow and succeed,

In addition to my academic and professional experience, I am certified in CPR and AED, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children I work with. I am also PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) trained, a specialized approach that supports children with motor speech challenges. These certifications enhance my ability to provide comprehensive, effective, and safe care tailored to each child’s unique needs.

My journey into speech therapy was driven by a deep passion for helping people and making a difference in their lives. I believe that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. That’s why my approach to therapy is rooted in creating a welcoming and supportive environment, where both children and their families feel like they truly belong!

At LITTLE Big Talkers, I work closely with families because I know that real progress happens when we’re in it together! I offer ongoing communication to ensure parents feel supported every step of the way. For me, the most rewarding part of this work is helping children gain confidence and seeing the joy and hope that growth brings to their families!

Stephanie Cassidy, M.S. CCC-SLP/SLS

I am seeking inspiring stories from families who have caregivers that have demonstrated exceptional dedication, surpassing their required roles to do something remarkable for their loved ones.

While many families with loved ones requiring caregiving have experienced challenges, it is now time to highlight the extraordinary efforts of remarkable caregivers.

I am assisting a writer who will be publishing a book featuring these stories.
