I am a mum of two, a toddler and a westie dog, (three if you include my husband), and all are precious to me in different ways. My little boy is growing so fast and when seeing a baby, I can’t believe how small he once was. My dog still has many years to live but as one knows, things can change in a heartbeat and not to dwell on what could happen; I simply enjoy the time we have. Since growing my
family, I wanted more than just memories but reminders of special moments in time. I decided to train in 3D casting and offer personal keepsakes to others. I created Love Casting because as children grow up, we can keep precious keepsakes of their little hands and tiny toes always; and precious paws can be treasured alongside the paw prints they leave on our heart.

Nana & Grandson. Working with children does have it's challenges. You practice a handhold and then the fingers come out. 😆They can't resist a wiggle in the moulding agent but Nana has said this is how he holds her hand so success in capturing that memory. 💜

It's always heart breaking to create these special keepsakes following the passing of a beloved fur baby. On the Brightside, I get to give the family a little comfort and a memory. I was asked to do his little nose, it's so precious. 🐾🥲

I do love this 'Baby and Us' keepsake. They are done in two stages, first cast the baby feet, then the parents come back to hold the feet and we recast the feet and parents hands. It can be done with hands, paws or feet. 💜😊

When working with toddler ages, there is never a guarantee of what hand position you may end up with. A love sign was the goal but I really think this says to 'LIVE' in the Moment. 💜

I will never forget this day as I got to spend some final moments with this sweet girl. She was on a day trip of walks and visits to the pubs and cafes to fill herself with sausages and treats. Her first stop however, was with me for her paw casting. Full of kisses and cuddles, she could not contain her excitement which was challenging when you need them to be still for a moment.
She continued on the planned daily adventures before sadly, she was PTS later that afternoon as a neurological condition had taken it's toll and it was time to say goodbye. 🥲
It's impossible to forget a dog that gave you so much to remember. Xx 💜

As a life casting artist, you grow and find your style that people will recognise. Although the format is different for this keepsake, it's still mine. I was asked to match sibling keepsakes that were created years earlier in the UK. I may not be able to match them perfectly but you'll get a keepsake that is a close match and compliments the others.
And of course a beautiful photo from Sophie Darwin Photography as I definitely know her work. 😊

Before and after pics - how cute is this baby bump? My client had it painted by a friend and I am so pleased she shared with me as it's amazing! I am always asked 'I like the idea of a babu bump but what would I do with it', well here is one idea. ☺️

Did you know that babies under 6 months will clench their fists as it's the natural fetal position they've been used to in the womb? This is why I get so excited to see an open hand, especially with a newborn. ☺️

I keep falling behind on my social posts but I never publish a keepsake till the family sees it first. I then try and find all the photos related to creating the keepsake which isn't as straight forward as you think and ensuring I have permission to share.
I can say, this little cutie was so sweet on the day and another beautiful keepsake to remind the family of how small, she one was. And of course a photo from to go with it. 😊

It’s my 11th wedding anniversary and we follow the traditional anniversary gifts. I may not see diamonds for quite a few more years but it is fun and challenging to see what we can find for each other. This year is steel, I got forks and Matt received a 10 pence coin 🤣

Love these three! I did their first casting back in 2019! What a difference a few years make as this time there were no tears and no singing wheels on the bus. It was full of laughter and smiles which made my day. 😄

I know that I have been quiet on my posts lately and this is why. I have been working very hard the last few months on a special project working with ABC Jersey - Breast Cancer Support to bring awareness to breast cancer. I have had the pleasure of meeting 15 strong, beautiful and individual women who all have or had breast cancer. Some of these women are in remission, others are living with this disease. I want to celebrate these women and I thank each and every one of them for their bravery in sharing not only their story but their scars. So, save the date, September 30th for the launch of a unique window display in the Marks and Spencer Jersey high street store!
