Mange is a skin disease caused by mites.
For Noodles she has sarcoptic mange. To diagnose Dr. Gregory performed a skin scrape and viewed under the microscope. The video to bottom - right is of the mite as viewed under the light microscope.
📌This type of mange is transmissable from pets to humans.
📌The presence of this mite causes extreme itching resulting in your pet scratching constantly which oftentimes leads to hair loss.
📌If you see this happening to your dogs please take them to your vet for a proper diagnosis and treatment.
📢📢DO NOT USE GAS OIL ON YOUR PETS TO TREAT!!!

Eastern Veterinary Health Centre provides complete animal care for both domestic and farm animals at competitive prices. Prospective clients are encouraged to call the number provided to schedule appointments. All appointments should be scheduled between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. We conduct home visits as well as in office treatment.
