Scone and Biscuits went in for a check up today. Biscuits is still blind in one eye and Scone’s eyes are still sealed shut.
Unfortunately being completely blind means Scone is very nervous and scares easily (who can blame her really)! But when a vacuum started up in the next room the poor girl panicked and her fosterer ended up taking the brunt of her fur-nado attack.🌪️ 😼
At least there’s no better place to deal with a bloody wound than a medical setting and the vets quickly brought sanitizer and bandages!🩹 But what’s a little blood, sweat and tears between a rescue kitten and her fosterer?😅

先日、スコーンとビスケットは健康診断に行きました。ビスケットの片目はまだ見えていないし、スコーンの両目は、完全に閉じたままで癒着し、開く気配もない状態です。

残念なことに、完全に目が見えないので、スコーンは、とても神経質で、すぐに怯えてしまいます。(それは彼女のせいではないし、仕方がないことです。）！🌪️ 😼
しかし、隣の部屋で掃除機が動き出すと、かわいそうな彼女はパニックになってしまい、結局預かりボランティアさんが、彼女の必至の攻撃の矢面に立つことになりました。
幸い、血まみれの傷を処置するため、獣医はすぐに消毒液と包帯を持ってきてくれましたのですが。

ただここで、我にかえって考えると、預かりボランティアが、保護猫のために日々流している、血と汗と涙は何なんでしょうね😅。

These tiny tigers are growing up so fast! 🐈 🐈🐈🐈🐈 They’ve tested negative for both FIV and FELV, are fully vaccinated and scheduled for their spay neuter this weekend❤️❤️ Wish them lots of luck for a safe surgery and recovery 😻

Say hello to Biscuit and Scone! 😻😻 These two cuties were found in an abandoned property out in Ibaraki. Several other adult and adolescent cats will be TNRd but these two were friendly enough to come home with us 🏡 . They had terrible eye issues and URI that have cleared up but their eyes remain closed for now. The vets say with surgery they should hopefully regain their eyesight 👁‍🗨 . はじめまして、ビスケットとスコーンです！この2匹は茨城の空き家で発見されました。他にも数匹の成猫と子猫がいて、後日TNRされる予定ですが、この2匹は、健康状態が良くなく、人間をあまり怖がらなかったので、私たちの保護猫になりました。🏡
この2匹はひどい目の感染症と上気道感染症にかかっていましたが、治療の甲斐があって、快方に向かっています。獣医さんによると、手術をすれば視力が回復する可能性もあるそうです👁‍🗨 。一日も早い回復を祈ります♥️！

Reintroducing Mikan and Mamawae (Mama), playfully named after Mikan Marmalade 🍊, reflecting their orange fur color🧡. Mikan, previously known as Violet, takes the lead, with Mama (formerly Bubbles) following closely! Initially shy, they used to hide behind the washing machine, but now eagerly greet their new family at the door😻😻. They've become more social and affectionate, enjoying activities like playing and watching Cat TV from their new window hammock. Fun fact: Mikan isn't afraid of water 💦 and enjoys the shower room, while Mama boasts the loudest purr 😸.

オレンジ色の毛色🧡にちなんで、みかん・マーマレード🍊と名付けました。以前はバイオレットと呼ばれていたみかんがリードを取り、マーマレード（以前はバブルス）が後を追います！最初は恥ずかしがり屋で、洗濯機の後ろに隠れていましたが、今では玄関で新しい家族を熱心に出迎えてくれます😻。社交的で愛情深くなり、新しい窓辺のハンモックで遊んだり、猫のテレビを見たりしています。

‼️We have a little update on our sweet foster kitty Boo!‼️

As you may know, Boo has been suffering seizures continuously for the last year. It if difficult to watch any of our fosters suffer like this and we have been working hard to find a solution for Boo!✨

Recently Boo went to see the veterinarians at the Animal General Hospital Specialized Medical & Emergency Center (VSEC). We were fortunate enough to have him examined by top level doctors in hopes that we could find a way to help with his seizures.

Although we are still unable to have a concrete diagnosis, we have been given a nasal shot to help him through his seizures and his medicine dosage has been increased. We are hoping that these new measures will help Boo live a more comfortable life, despite his seizures! 💪🏻

Specialized medical care such as this can be very expensive. We want to give all of our animals the best possible treatment! With your support in our endeavours, we can continue to do so! 🥰

ご存知の通り、ブーは去年から発作に苦しみ続けています。私たちの里親の誰かがこのように苦しんでいるのを見るのは辛いことで、私たちはブーのために解決策を見つけるために努力してきました✨。

最近、ブーは動物総合病院専門医療救急センター（VSEC）の獣医師の診察を受けました。幸運なことに、発作を改善する方法が見つかることを願い、トップレベルの医師たちに診察してもらうことができました。

まだ具体的な診断は下されていませんが、発作を抑えるための点鼻薬を処方してもらい、薬の量も増やしました。私たちは、これらの新しい措置が、発作があってもブーがより快適な生活を送れるようになることを望んでいる！💪🏻

Formerly Cayenne and Cumin, Emet and Ghost are living their best lives in their forever home! 😻 🏡 😻 They love to hang out with dad and “help” while he’s working on the computer 🤓🖥️. Ghost used to be virtually untouchable and would hiss and spit. Now, he’s a huge cuddle bug that loves to be picked up and hugged. They both love to play and bring so much love to their forever family 🥰 According to dad, “When I bring out the harness and shake it, they both come running over all excited like puppies”😂. We couldn't be happier for this beautiful pair 🥰. Give them a ❤️ if you're as thrilled as we are!

This week, we received a message to our website stating there may have been a dead kitten in Mito city 😭 Thankfully, the kitten was alive when we reached the reporter; but surprise! 💌Mimi update! 💌

Since rescuing Mimi and having her live as an indoor cat, she has been living happily and energetically with her foster mama!🥰 She definitely likes the princess treatment! 💅 She loves to cuddle and is friendly with all humans - and she is always ready to play and eat snacks!😻

We have been working diligently to take good care of Mimi’s health. 🩺 When we first took her in, we were concerned about her ears! But with dedicated care from our fosters and volunteers, we were able to clear them up! She is currently taking antibiotics for her eyes, which she doesn’t like but takes it like a champ! 💪🏻

🐾 Saving lives isn't cheap, but it's PRICELESS! 🙏💕

We have an update on Boo! 🐱

If you have been following us for a while, you might be familiar with Boo’s situation. He has been having consistent seizures over the last year. We have brought Boo to have multiple tests, MRIs, and general check ups, but we have yet to receive a concise diagnosis😢. We have tried him on many different medication‘s and medication dosages under the vets careful supervision, but nothing seems to be having an affect on controlling his seizures.

Boo’s seizures can often last for over an hour and he is very disoriented afterwards and always goes to his loving foster mama for cuddles and love! ❣️

We want to see a specialist for Boo in order to try and find a more concrete diagnosis for his condition. Your help and support during our fostering and rescue endeavours is always appreciated!🥰

Now that the weather is finally cooling down (we hope), lots of us are going to be opening our windows and doors for some fresh air. However, we need to consider the safety of our fuzzy friends in this season! Here are some tips to ensure your fur babies stay safe and sound:

🐾 Window Screens: Make sure your screens are securely in place to prevent curious critters from pushing through or falling out. Regularly inspect and replace damaged screens.

🐾 Window Blinds and Cords: Ensure that window blind cords are securely out of reach from your pets, as they can pose a strangulation hazard. Consider using cordless blinds or cord cleats to keep them safe.

🐾 Supervision: When windows are open, always supervise your pets to ensure they don't lean too far out or scratch at screens. Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.

🐾 Window Locks: Install childproof window locks or stops to limit how far windows can be opened.

These sweet siblings were found together, and are now in the care of our foster volunteers! ❣️

They are about 4-6 weeks old and gaining weight steadily!🐱They are genki and feeling happy and healthy…and they love humans! We love kitten cuddle parties🥰.
