1st ask yourself are you an entrepreneur or traditional village farmer. If your answer is entrepreneur then you have a chance if you are traditional farmer you will have to 1st develop from traditional method of doing things and develop a business mind.
Before starting any business you must identify your market and for agriculture its almost everywhere since with over 50million in population here in kenya eating 3 meals a day, i can't think of any other industry with such margins. For small farmers cut the middlemen. If you leave in towns just figure out how do you get your products there.
Manage your workers well and sustain your production to maintain your customers, just like in any other business if you have the product available you have the money.
Keep your records updated and make timely decisions. Plan well for the future and make necessary adjustments to the plan with your business in mind.
Be prayerful, humble and consistent.
