On 4th of September 2023, Delilah was presented with these clinical signs at the clinic. After thorough investigations, she was diagnosed with Photosensitivity and secondary bacterial infection.
She was admitted and treated for both with
1. cephalexin at 30mg/kg twice daily for 14days.
2. prednisolone at 0.4mg/kg daily for 7 days.
3. Strictly confined in the house with minimal exposure to sunshine early morning and late evening.
The results as in picture 2, on the 17th October 2023, is amazing and she's ready to go home.

I've been thinking about the pros and cons of having a fluffy or short-haired cat, and I'd love to hear your thoughts! 🤔

On one hand, fluffy cats are undeniably adorable and cuddly. Their soft, fluffy coats make them perfect for snuggling up with on a chilly night. However, their fur can be high-maintenance, requiring regular grooming to prevent mats and tangles.

On the other hand, short-haired cats are typically lower maintenance when it comes to grooming. They don't shed as much as their fluffy counterparts, which can be a bonus for allergy sufferers. However, they may not be as cuddly as their fluffier counterparts, and their coats may not provide as much warmth during the colder months.
