Xray imaging and Ultrasonography and their interpretation.

At just 2 years of age, Harry has been to he'll and back. His problems have come as a result of poor dental health.

Did you know that your pet needs atleast one dental check up annually? Now you know.

Back to Harry, he's been experiencing bad breath (halitosis), inflamed gums (gingivitis) and this has led to loose teeth.

To day he had a great remedy - a full dental

Hey guys, my name is Poppy. I am your vet today. See my ear? The reddish swelling is caused by bleeding under the skin. This is caused by ear infections. When the ear is infected, we tend to shake the head vigorously. This leads to ear blood vessels rupturing and thus the bleeding.

The condition is more common in dogs than we cats. It is corrected by surgery. If not treated, it heals by deforming the earlobes.

I was lucky to have a surgery and will be fully recovered soon. For more updates on my recovery process, keep it here.....cheers 😃 I can now smile

Lately it hasn't been all rosy with Jimjam. He's been having swollen cheeks and started drooling last week

He visited us today for a check. He's been diagnosed with tooth abcess and stage 3 periodontal disease

He'll be with us for the next few days to get his treatment. He will have to undergo sedation for better management of the abcess.

Wish him well.
