🐾 How to Manage a High-Energy Puppy on a Rainy or Snowy Day 🌧️
We’ve all been there—your puppy has boundless energy, but the weather outside is less than ideal. Here are a few tips to keep your furry friend entertained and calm when you’re stuck indoors:

1. Interactive Toys: Invest in some puzzle toys that challenge their mind and keep them busy. Think treat-dispensing toys or hide-and-seek games! 🧩

2. Training Sessions: Use this time to teach basic commands or even a new trick. Mental stimulation is just as tiring as physical exercise! 🐕‍🦺

3. Tug-of-War or Fetch: Clear some space and have a tug-of-war session or toss a soft ball around. It gets their energy out without needing to leave the house! 🎾

4. Enrichment Activities: Fill enrichment puzzles or Kongs with treats or peanut butter to keep them engaged. Bonus: It’s a great way to keep them distracted while you relax! 🍖

5. Create an Indoor Obstacle Course: Set up a fun mini agility course with pillows, chairs, or tunnels! It’s a great way to get them moving indoors. 🏃‍♂️

My sweet girl Hazel isn’t quite to her senior years yet, but she will be very soon! So, exactly what age is considered SENIOR for dogs? 🐾

Just like humans, dogs age at different rates depending on their breed and size. Typically, smaller dogs are considered senior around 10-12 years of age, while larger breeds may reach their senior years as early as 6-7 years old. Medium-sized dogs usually fall somewhere in between, around 8-10 years.

As your pets age, adding supplements for joint health, digestion, and immune support can make a big difference in their overall well-being.
