We've been very quiet on social media recently but in case you were wondering, we are still here growing our community garden and some of Phnom Penh's freshest herbs and greens!

Photos from L>R
Team visit, fresh basil, new neighbours, morning glory, picking berries, curly kale, classroom snake, new pylons, green waste delivery and roof fixing.

No animals were hurt folks, do fantastic job safe guarding dangerous animals we find in the area.

Happy International Women's day!

We're taking this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to Theary & Ratha - our staff at the garden. Without them we wouldn't have such a wonderful green oasis to share with the community.

From starting seeds, making compost, watering, harvesting produce to planting school gardens - their hard work is what keeps our project growing!

We've been quietly collaborating with our good friends at Eggplant Bear's Kitchen for a while now. Not only does he stock up to 4 types of pesto (Parsley, Sweet, Thai and Holy basil) but they also have an amazing selection of homemade products.

They are also our drop off location in TTP if our delivery isn't convenient 😉

Go take a look!

Here's a few snaps from September including none other than Alien - the neighbourhood pooch.

A big thank you to for sharing some sweet treats with us last week - the bundt cake was such a hit we almost didn't have time to take a photo!

You can also find some of our produce in parts of their delicious menu if you're in the TTP neighbourhood 😉

THANK YOU THURSDAY!

A big shout out to Rina, now studying Agriculture at university, for her hard work and enthusiasm!

She recently finished her 3 month internship with us to gain some hands-on experience in the gardens.
From nursery work to transplanting, harvesting, maintenance and packing orders.

She's now leading a waste management project with other students recycling kitchen scraps in her local community.

Well done!

Two years after planting, our Poinciana Tree is finally flowering!

Red and orange flowers have gained the species many names including flamboyant, flame and our favourite - the phoenix flower.

The showy blossoms are considered by many a sign of the oncoming monsoon. 🌧️🍃

A HUGE thank you to Liza and Srey Nhanh for volunteering their help last month!

Aside from watering duties, we prepped beds, planted seedlings and harvested seeds.

Their contributions were logged into community hours meaning they get additional support with their further education.

Meet Mei Neang! Designer & creator of our logo.

Back in 2021 we ran a competition for aspiring graphic designers amongst local high school students.

Mei Neang was one of 3 finalists selected before winning the popular vote. Now her work is on show through branding, social media and on the garden's gate!

That's a wrap on our 2022 vegetable distribution!

We yielded a total of 834kg of organic vegetables, 700kg of which was shared amongst our community.

The remainder went to direct customer sales and helped to cover our running costs.

We can't wait to see what 2023 will hold. Thanks to everyone who visited and helped contribute to the project!
