This is the beauty of time; two old dogs, CJ (left) recently turned 9 and Katsu (right) turning 12 today. They weren't always snuggle buddies, it took Katsu about two years to really accept and trust CJ. Now, they are close companions.

I am so grateful for my fur-friends, they make me happy and sometimes make me crazy but I am blessed to call them mine. Happy birthday to my Superstar, retired now, but forever my superstar.

Introducing Fortryllet It's So Easy to Fall in Love, Buddy. Buddy was Best Puppy in Show at a UKC show on Sunday 4/17. This was his first time in the ring and he loved every minute of it!

We took advantage of a beautiful Fall day and captured some magnificent photos of Allie and Hondo. We are planning our first breeding with puppies expected late January or early February, 2022. Puppies from this pair will produce intelligence and versatility not to mention proper structure and beauty.

I am super proud to announce that pending confirmation from the United Kennel Club, Allie has obtained her Grand Championship. UGCh, UCh, Gullhjerte La Vie En Rose, RATN. So thankful for this little girl and all the fun times we've shared together.

In late January, we attended our first Barn Hunt trial in Leesburg, Indiana. We've had a lot of fun during practice sessions and Allie has shown tremendous desire to play this game! For our first weekend out, Allie achieved a 1st place, a high in class, and two 2nd placements for a new title.

When training in agility we often run courses that are designed for higher levels of competition. Hondo is currently competing in the novice classes of AKC, but he's training here on a Masters/Excellent Course.

Hondo competed in his first agility trial yesterday, he ran in a CPE trial, competing in standard, colors, and jumpers. He came home with three qualifying runs and three first placements. This is a video of our last run of the day.

Staying home for weeks at a time is not my thing. However, staying home and watching and playing with these two has brought me tremendous joy.

Allie came to me in December and was thrust into a new world with a new routine. It was a slow transition but we were making progress. Along came the pandemic and multiple stay at home orders.

Home we stayed and a relationship we have built. There is a silver lining, sometimes we just don't see it right away!

It's nice to have the gang together again. Allie just completed her first heat cycle so she and Hondo had to spend a good deal of time apart!
