🚗 Joonie Has Been Adopted & Needs a Ride to Incheon Airport! ✈️

Joonie has found his forever home and is flying out on March 21! He’s a quiet, mellow boy who travels well, and we need help getting him to Incheon Airport by 15:30 at the latest.

We’re looking for:
- A volunteer driver to take him directly from Busan to Incheon
- Relay drivers who can help transport him part of the way

You may also need to assist with his check-in, but don’t worry—we’ll provide all instructions and guidance and be with you on the phone every step of the way to ensure everything goes smoothly!

If you can help, please reach out! Let’s get Joonie home! 💙🐾

- 부산에서 인천까지 직접 이동해 주실 운전자
- 인천 방향으로 일부 구간이라도 운전해 주실 릴레이 운전자

체크인 과정에서도 봉사자의 도움이 필요할 수도 있습니다.
모든 절차에 대한 안내를 제공해드리며, 전화로 함께하며 원활하게 진행될 수 있도록 도와드릴게요.

Urgent foster needed in Busan for our sweet boy, Joonie!

We’re thrilled to announce that Joonie has been adopted by a loving family in Vancouver, BC! He now needs a temporary foster home in Busan while he receives medical treatment before flying to his new home. Joonie needs a small procedure to remove a cyst on his head, along with check-ups for his eyes and ears. All medical costs will be covered, and we just need a safe, loving environment for him to rest and recover.

Joonie is sweet, affectionate, and loves pats and snuggles. He’s friendly and gentle with people and dogs, and he’ll happily accompany you anywhere, whether in your arms or a carrier. He’s quiet, calm, and doesn’t bark. He may have some separation anxiety (to be tested), but he’s a loving companion who gets along with everyone he meets.

Freedom day! Rescue day!
Our cute lil boy 창석 aka Buster aka Mr Potato head is free... Saved from euthanasia in the nick of time! ❤️‍🩹
helped us bust Changseok out of White Dove shelter (하얀 비둘기 보호소) on this cloudy Sunday.
Next stop was Sajik Animal Medical Center where we found out that he has heartworm and luxated patellas on both back legs...Definitely a big bummer, but Changseok is a brave lil soldier so we'll get him healthy and pain-free in no time.
Last stop of the day was getting him settled into his temporary home with .
Now it's time for Changseok to relax and decompress... Let's see what tomorrow brings! ❤️‍🩹

Pets are not just Christmas presents... They're a gift for the whole year and for their whole lives.
Opening your heart and home to Joonie would be the best present for you and your family and this sweet lil guy.

Joonie was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Busan, South Korea recently. He was so shut down that we didn't know if he was blind, deaf, injured or deeply afraid.
After a visit to the vet, it was determined that one eye never fully developed and has minimal sight (but thankfully doesn't need to be removed). One back knee (patella) was luxated and correctove surgery was undergone by our brave boy.
It does appear that Joonie was a loved companion at some point as he's very affectionate, perhaps his owner got sick or passed away and he was discarded.
Joonie would make an amazing companion for a family, a couple, a single person... As long as you have plenty of time and love to give, Joonie will be a very happy chap.

Legs - recovering from patella luxation surgery. He'll never be a hiker but he'll tag along with you wherever you want to take him.

Personality
Sweet, affectionate, friendly, gentle. Loves pats and snuggles. Will happily accompany you anywhere in your arms or carrier.

Behavior
Hasn't been tested in a home environment but is observed to be good with other dogs, loves every person he meets.
Is quiet and calm, no barking has been observed.
May have some separation anxiety - will be tested.

Training
Toilet - uses p*e pads, house training can be done in foster.
Leash - will be trained
Crate - only for transport

Hopefully, we can find a foster in Korea soon so we can fully assess his behavior and habits.

Have you ever seen a more distinguished senior gentleman doggo? Although he's presumed to be close to 10 years old, Paul still has plenty of pep in his step! He's friendly and gentle but also playful and loves to walk.
We'd love to see Paul find a home where he can spend the rest of his life in comfort, with daily walks, good food and and a loving family. Winter is coming... Please give this gentle giant a chance to enjoy the quiet life in a warm, safe home.

PAUL'S STORY
Paul was used to hunt wild boars. He was forced to starve for days before a hunt in order to make him more "motivated" to kill. Paul was rescued with his friend Nana, but she unfortunately passed not long after being rescued due to poor health.

SEX/WEIGHT/AGE: Male, 34 kg, approx. 10 years
BREED: Hound mix - Scottish Deerhound is our best guess
VACCINATIONS/SPAY/NEUTER/HEALTH: Fully vaccinated. Neutered. Healthy.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Paul has some scars on his nose bridge, forehead, and the joint area of his front legs.
There are patches of hair loss on his right foreleg and around the shoulder area. (According to the vet’s diagnosis, this is not a skin disease but rather a case of hair loss due to the poor conditions he lived in.)

BEHAVIOR:
Dogs: Good
Cats: Untested
Children: Untested
Adults: Good
Other small critters: Untested
Housebroken: Not yet (has only known life outdoors)
Crate/Kennel: In training
Energy Level: Medium
Food Aggression / Resource Guarding: None detected in the shelter, but feedings are done individually.
Personality: Very friendly. A senior dog, but still active and playful.

Leash: Good, pulls a little because he loves being out and about

Leo is one lucky guy and will have an amazing home with huge garden in Canada BC.
We are more than happy for you, you handsome pupster.

Amazing news from Pyeongtaek, South Korea! Stitch, the doggo formerly known as Hook, has been adopted by his foster mama and handsome bro Malu!
They're heading to Japan next and Hawaii in the future... What a lucky boi!
We had a scare when he contracted babesia, a rare tick-borne illness... A good reminder to us all to be super vigilant about parasite preventatives. Thank goodness his adopter rushed him to the vet - Best Friends in Osan - you're our heroes!
Can't wait to see Stitch continue to thrive and experience all the adventures life with his new family have to offer!
