Chansaem Animal Hospital 찬샘 동물병원 PERMANENTLY CLOSED / under different ownership. We are a Korean veterinarian and American vet tech-run animal hospital located in Incheon.

We specialize in exotic pets, anesthesia, surgery, endoscopy and diagnostic ultrasound. We are a small animal hospital offering treatment to all animals. Our veterinarian, Chansik Nam, is fluent in English and is active in meeting the needs of his foreign clients. His wife, Rebecca, an American, and is also available to help expats with any needs they might have. We accept exotic animals and specialize in pet rats. 📣Big announcement!
As most of you already know, Chansaem Animal Hospital has been bought by another veterinarian as Dr.Nam and I begin our lives in the USA. Dr. Nam will be working 2 days a week in July at Chansaem to help out the new vet, so if there is anything anyone needs throughout the month of July, please contact me and we will do our best to assist.
We would like to thank everyone for the past 5+ years of greatness. We opened Chansaem with very little money but a lot of passion for helping animals and their owners. We have all of you to thank for the clinic’s success. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journeys and thank you for being a part of ours. It is definitely sad to leave Chansaem behind and I wish we didn’t have to. Hopefully the future holds even better things for everyone and if you ever need a Korean speaking veterinarian in Nebraska, we’ll be there!

📢Announcement!

Hello everyone,
I know it seems like I make this announcement every year but I once again need to go to the States for healthcare. I won't ever be returning to Korea but Dr.Nam will still be at Chansaem providing veterinary care. You can also still message me on this page for appointments, questions, etc. For some of you with ongoing travel prep or other care plans, don't worry, I will still be helping with those, just from afar. There will come a time when I am unable to help anymore and I will work with you all to make contingency plans for that.

📢Important Summer Holiday Announcement!
🏖 August 13-16 : Clinic closed
☀️ August 17-29 : Open limited hours with a different veterinarian (English language and exotic animal services not available)
🧑‍⚕️August 30 : Normal clinic hours, staff and services will resume.
◇ Dr. Nam and myself will be taking a trip abroad and will not return until the 29th of August. You can still reach me through messenger, but responses will be delayed. Thank you for your understanding and have a safe summer, everyone!

TWO Announcements 📣
1. Starting in January 2023 our clinic hours and days of operation are changing:
🗓 Open Monday through Saturday (Closed Sundays)
⏰10AM-7:30PM (we stop accepting patients at 7PM)
📌Closed for lunch 1PM-2PM
👨‍⚕️Surgeries are performed after lunch.

2. I'm happy to announce that I am back in Korea and helping at Chansaem Animal Hospital again, but in a much more limited capacity than before. Thank you everyone for your understanding, patience and support. 🐭💜

Due to a recent possible diagnosis I, Rebecca, will no longer be able to help with anything at Chansaem Animal Hospital and will be going to America for care in the near future. Dr. Nam will be around for now so if you need anything you will need to go to or contact the clinic directly. Keep in mind that only Dr. Nam speaks English, our staff does not. You can still message here through this page but I cannot guarantee that I will be able to respond at all. I apologize for the sudden inconvenience and thank you all for your support over the years. Chansaem wouldn't exist without all of you!

For the month of December, we will be revising our opening days so please do take note should you choose to make an appointment with us. By default, Nurse Edna (our native English-speaking nurse) will be around on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays till further notice.

Hope everyone out there is doing well! We will be closed throughout the Chuseok holiday period, 20-22 September 2021. We are also expecting a long waiting time over the weekend before we close, hence appointment bookings wouldn't be open for that period. Have a great remaining week ahead!
