[Patriot Express - Atlas]

We were informed by AMC agent last week that current flight (Atlas) will have a total weight limit.

* Total number of pets (excess baggage) : Total 10 per flight accepted
* Weight limit for all pets : 500lbs
* For the next two months, Atlas will be flying in and out of Osan.

With this reason, AMC agent strongly recommends to do pre-check in. The confirmed pet slot may not give a guarantee due to weight limit by Atlas, which is very new policy. We have confirmed this new policy this morning again to make sure.

Regarding giant kennel : We confirmed with AMC agent this morning (29 Aug 2022) that giant kennel size is not an issue.

This regulation may change at anytime and for more information, please contact Osan AMC.

** Patriot Express Passengers FROM OSAN

!! Pre check in : You must bring your pets to the terminal along with your items such as excess baggage and carry on items.

They will take excess baggage on that day, and they will not return them to you. You will only get them in Seattle.

They will not take your pets on that day! You must bring your pets back to your residence/lodging after check in.

You will need to show : Health certificate, rabies vaccination certificate (or combined certificate for health + rabies) to the agent along with your orders, passport (or ID) and Covid test report.

COVID TEST : As of 13 Dec, you must get the Covid test within 3 days prior to departure. (i.e. If your flight is Tuesday, the earliest you can get the test is Saturday.)

Pre-check in starts from 10am , a day prior to departure.

!! Note from AMC agents
For excess baggage pets, the total weight of the pet + crate must be under 150lbs. No size limit.

For CARRY ON : Your pet must be able to stand up inside of the crate and the top of the head must not touch the top of the crate. They have rejected so many pets who did not meet this condition and they encourage people to try to get the slot for the excess baggage if your pet does not meet this condition.

CHANGE : Transit via EU countries

From1 Jan 2022, all pets who will transit through Europe will need to fulfill the EU entry requirements even though the final destination is none EU countries.

This means, for example : if you are shipping your French Bulldog from Korea to USA via Frankfurt on Lufthansa cargo, your dog must meet EU regulation as well as USA regulation.

We received the update from Lufthansa cargo however since this change is for entire EU, we expect other European carriers (such as KLM) will announce this soon.
