After the Storm—Reintroduction & Safety
When the winds calm, your pet may need help readjusting to their surroundings. 🌈🐾

Leash Walks First: Floodwaters and debris can change landmarks—keep your pet on a leash until they’re re-oriented.

Watch for Wildlife: Flooded areas can displace snakes, scorpions, centipedes crabs (and other critters). Stay vigilant to protect both your pet and yourself.

Have a Photo Handy: In case of an escape, a current photo helps with identification.

Monitor Behavior: Stress can manifest as aggression or anxiety. Keep routines as normal as possible and watch for sudden changes.

Safety first—help your pet feel secure in their post-storm environment.

Multiple sighting. For those that don’t know the road it is branches off of Fountain Road (road to WB Primary School) up by Andy’s Auto.
