كل وجبة لحم من اي حيوان كان تحمل وراءها دموعًا وأنينًا وعنفًا لا يُرى. الحيوانات ليست مكونات غذائية، بل كائنات تشعر وتتألم. اختيارنا للطعام إمّا أن يكون دعمًا للعنف أو خطوة نحو الرحمة. فلنسأل أنفسنا: هل لدينا إحساس؟
