FPV is a highly contagious viral disease affecting cats, often referred to as feline distemper. It attacks rapidly dividing cells, impacting the bone marrow and intestines, leading to severe illness.

Causes of FPV include contact with contaminated f***s, urine, blood, or fleas. Kittens, unvaccinated cats, and those with weak immune systems are particularly vulnerable.

Prevention is key! Ensure your cats are up-to-date on vaccinations. Keep their living environment clean and avoid contact with sick cats. Early detection and supportive care are crucial for the best chance of recovery. Let's keep our feline friends safe and healthy! 🐱💙

Keeping your furry friend healthy and happy includes taking care of their skin. Different types of skin infections can affect dogs, leading to itchiness, redness, and discomfort. Some common types of skin infections in dogs include bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic infections. Understanding the symptoms, which may include hair loss, scabs, redness... , can help in identifying and treating skin infections. Don't let your dog suffer silently, stay vigilant and seek veterinary care at the first signs of a skin infection.
