This journey started with three characters: Us and a little dog.
As dog lovers, we always wanted a dog so badly and we could not wait to have one for ourselves! Stark was the one!! He perfectly filled our home with love and warmth, and we started to love him more, day after day.
We wanted him to be happy! First thing to think of was his health. Suddenly a question popped out to our minds: Will he really strive on the bag of highly processed food and chemicals we are buying for him?! Was there another option? Not even questioning the quality and the trust of those highly commercial brands. So we started our personal research online and what we discovered was jaw-dropping;
Stress, obesity, infection, sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise, toxins and pollutionā¦ there is a reason if dogs now are living for a much shorter period of time, and it is not only written on genes. 90 % of the reasons lie on their lifestyle, and only 10 % is related to their genes. And it wasnāt all. The main reason behind their illness, including the increased cancer rate, was their nutrition! If only we could change their way of eating and their nutritional style we could significantly change their well-being & life expectancy.
We needed a plan. And not only for Stark. We needed PawPots.
We started cooking for Stark and very soon noticed the difference! We invested more in fresh food and less in commercial foodā¦ Researching and working with a veterinary nutritionist to select the best ingredients and balanced formula so he could benefit the most.
