Dear Santa Paws,

If you’re out there, I wanted you to know I’ve been a good boy. I don’t ask for anything but I give so much love. Every day I tell Bruno Project St Lucia and Slaps St. Lucia Animal Protection Society have grateful I am for them.

This year, would it be okay if I asked for a home? Even if I don’t get a home, maybe one of my shelter potcake friends can have a home?

🐾Update on Ben🐾
Well, it's been a while since I've done an update. I really haven't had much to update on though. Well, here goes. About three weeks ago, I dropped Ben off at his sea containers behind Mega Massy. He initially seemed very happy to be home. I visited him the following two days and he was there. He seemed lonely. I really wished he'd go off on adventures like he used to but seemed to just want to lay there and wait for us to visit. I just want him to be happy and this is the best I can give him. Be careful what you wish for? Ben started wandering or at least not staying put. I visited him as often as I could, I'd leave food for him and drove around looking for him. I was planning a trip off island, so managed to recruit enough volunteers to go drop food for him in my absence. It's really difficult to keep the team motivated if they don't even get to meet him. He seems to only be spotted once per week now. Josh, one of the shelter staff saw him walking the sidewalk when he was at a nearby bus stop. A young lady, Glenice, had scanned his tag and actually called me to let me know she found him. She is now part of our Ben volunteer chat. Jane, who normally feeds dogs daily up north, saw him a few days ago standing in the middle of the roundabout. It seems he is doing OK, but I sure worry about him. He is due his last Heartworn treatment shot on Tuesday. I sure hope he shows up for his appointment!

Ben is still looking for his special someone. He loves walks on the beach, snuggling, watching tv and treats. He doesn’t like yoga, Pina coladas or champagne 🍾 but he loves ice cream 🍨! Are you his special someone !

Hello friends,

Sadly the vast majority of animal-haters is actively trying to ban my account. They are claiming I am a scam.

The reality is, I was someone’s pet, and someone was my human. We grew up together until one day they didn’t love me any more and dumped me on the streets like trash.

The purpose of my page is to spread awareness for the overpopulation crisis and lack of animal rights on the island of Saint Lucia as well as hopefully find myself a forever family that will love me forever, not until they don’t feel like it any more.

My rescuer is Doris with Bruno Project St Lucia and the shelter keeping me safe for now is Slaps St. Lucia Animal Protection Society.

Please take a moment to read and learn before you make a false claim and take away any chance I have at becoming healthy and loved.
