Why Does my cat has watery eyes?

Conjunctivitis is the inflammation of the pink membranes surrounding the eye and is a common eye problem in dogs and cats. Keratitis is inflammation of the cornea. These two conditions can be caused by viral, bacterial, or allergy-driven infection.

When your cat has any abnormality in the eyes it can say alot about your cats health. He may be having an underlying infection. The best thing you can do is show him to your veterinarian and get the necessary tests done and follow the medications and eye drops recommended.

Note - Please dont take over the counter (pharmacy recommended ) medications for the eye infections. It can sometimes make the condition worse.

FIRST VISIT TO THE VET

Your puppy's / kitten's first visit to see their doctor is very important for them. The veterinarian will do a proper health checkup on your pet, give you advice on how to take care of your new baby, how to feed them, bathe them and train them. They will also get their first immunization and deworming in their visit to the vet. They will be prescribed any medications / supplements they need. Therefore when you get a new pet make sure they visit their vet as soon as possible. 😊❤️

Pyometra is accumulation of pus in the uterus due to bacterial infection. Daisy had a very serious level of bacterial infection in her uterus which led to off food and weakness. After surgery she is feeling much better and continuing antibiotics. 😊
