Canine Parvo viral infection

Canine parvo virus is leading viral infection in the young and immature puppies which mainly attach young miotic cells or rapidly dividing cells including crypt of intestinal epithelial cells,Lymph nodes,thymus and bone marrow precursor cells.
Two forms: intestinal and myocardial forms.
It is the most common cause of death young puppies and causing severe enteritis.
The virus is mainly affect the young dog up to 6 months of age and symptoms manifested by anorexia,vomiting,harsh dehydration, bloody or mucoid fowl smelling dirrhoea.
Virus is affected all the ages but young are more susceptible.
A.pit bulls,Rotweiler,Doberman,Labrador and German shephard like breeds are more susceptible.
Spread through f***l oral route
Morbidity and mortality is very high but can be managed by application of appropriate treatments and strict monitoring 2-3 days by a qualified veterinary surgeon.
Prognosis: with proper treatment condition is improved within 3 days and become normal within 4-7 days. Most of the untreated infected dog will die within 3 days.
Prevention: proper vaccination of puppies at 45 days of age

PUPPY PYODERMA
-Most common condition of pups due to bacterial infection
-Most probably it is superficial and it can cause secondary to allergies or parasites
-Reddish bump or small lesion is appeared on less hairy areas like belly or groin later these lesions become crusty and itchy
