This beautiful little girl "Niki", just about a year old, has already endured so much. She was abandoned on the streets, left alone in the pouring rain, crying in fear and loneliness. Yet she would always greet everyone with a wagging tail.

Thankfully, Niki was rescued by Embark and is safe. She is in the process of being fully vaccinated and will be spayed soon. Despite everything she has gone through, Niki remains incredibly friendly, playful and full of pure unconditional love.

Niki's gentle spirit has not been broken. She still smiles, still trusts, still believes that someone out there will choose her. All she wants is a warm home and a kind family.

These three beautiful girls Elsa (5 1/2 months), Ellie (5 1/2 months), and Kuku (7 1/2 months)are waiting for the warmth and safety of their forever homes. Each one of them has a heart overflowing with love. They are active, playful, and incredibly friendly.

They have been fully vaccinated, including their booster shots and they will be spayed next month. All they need now is a loving family to call their own.

Meet Fluffy a gentle and affectionate girl around 2 1/2 years old who is searching for her forever home.

Fluffy was abandoned on the streets when she was just about 6 months old, yet she is one of the sweetest doggies you will ever meet. She is sterilized and fully vaccinated. Fluffy is incredibly friendly and affectionate.

Sadly, Fluffy is still living on the streets, where life can be harsh and unsafe. She truly deserves a safe, loving home where she can be cared for and loved.

This handsome male Doberman was abandoned in Attidiya two weeks ago and found wandering on the streets, lost and helpless. Thankfully, a kind hearted person stepped in and rescued him before it was too late.

He is now safe and being cared for, but what he truly needs is a loving forever home.

He is around 2 1/2 years old, currently in the process of receiving his vaccinations and will be neutered soon.

These three adorable little girls were abandoned on the streets, but thankfully were rescued by a kind hearted person who couldn’t turn a blind eye to their suffering. They are now about 1 1/2 months old sweet puppies, full of love to give.

They have already received their first dose of ARV vaccination and their sterilization surgeries will be sponsored by their rescuer when they reach the right age.

These innocent girls have been through so much at such a young age. All they need now is a safe and loving forever home, a place where they can finally feel safe and loved. ❤️

These three lovely girls Ellie, Elsa, and Kuku are looking for their forever homes. ❤️

Ellie and Elsa were found abandoned on the streets, scared and alone. We rescued them and boarded them at Urban Coop, Hokandara, where they are now safe. They are around 4 months old, vaccinated, and dewormed. KAWSL will sponsor their sterilization when they reach the right age.

Kuku’s story is just as brave. She was rescued by a kind-hearted person after being found injured on the streets. She underwent surgery on her hind leg and has made a wonderful recovery. Kuku is about 6.5 months old, vaccinated, dewormed, and already sterilized.

All three girls are currently being cared for at Urban Coop, Hokandara, patiently waiting for their forever families. They have endured so much in their short lives, yet remain gentle, loving, and full of hope. Please open your heart and give them the safe, loving homes they truly deserve. Meet Emma, Ellie, and Elsa three little girls who were found abandoned on the streets, without their mama.

When we first saw them, they were lying helplessly by the roadside, frightened and alone. We could not leave them there. We rescued them right away and took them to the vet for urgent care.

The poor babies were covered in ticks and fleas even their tiny ears were full of them. After being treated, vaccinated, and dewormed, these three beautiful girls are now doing much better.

They are currently safe in a temporary foster home, but what they truly need is a loving forever home where they will be cared for and loved.

KAWSL will ensure that their sterilization surgeries are done in due time.

Meet Nemo. We came across Nemo in Nugegoda, suffering from a severe "re**al prolapse". It was heartbreaking to even watch him in such a state.

We knew he needed urgent help but catching him was no easy task. After many attempts, we finally managed to rescue Nemo and rushed him to Best Care Animal Hospital for immediate surgery.

The surgery was complicated as Nemo had been suffering for quite some time. He is now being boarded at the hospital and receiving ongoing treatment.

Nemo is around 3 to 4 years old. After he recovers it would be risky sending him back to the streets as the re**al prolapse could re-occure once again if his diet is not monitored. We are looking for a loving home for Nemo. If you could, please give Nemo a chance at living a pain free, happy life. 🙏🏼

Nemo will be fully vaccinated and could be neutered if required.

We have to keep Nemo in hospital till he fully recovers. We need your support to continue Nemo’s treatment and keep him hospitalized.

We were informed about a bull in Pragathipura, Madiwela, who had suffered a deep cut on his shoulder and was in urgent need of help.

We immediately reached out to Amila Sanjeewa, who kindly agreed to assist with the treatment. Since the bull had to be sedated for the procedure, we sought the support of Justice for Animals & Nature (JAN). With their help, we were able to safely catch and sedate the bull.

Thanks to everyone’s teamwork, the treatment was successfully completed and we are happy to share that the bull is now out of danger and on the road to recovery.
