Meet Tootsie, a lively, loving, and playful girl who is around 8 months old with a heart full of love.

Sadly, Tootsie’s owner is facing a serious medical condition and is no longer able to give her the care she deserves. This has been a heartbreaking decision, but sadly the owner is unable to care for Tootsie for much longer.

She is sterilized and vaccinated.

This adorable little girl was rescued from the busy streets of Veyangoda by a kind hearted animal lover. Just around 1 to 2 months old, she is a beautiful orange bundle of fur.

She is currently in a safe place but what she truly needs is a loving, forever home where she can be safe and happy.

These four beautiful little girls were heartlessly dumped on the roadside, in the pouring rain last night.

Thankfully a kind hearted girl who could not walk away, picked them up and carried them to her home. They were drenched, cold, and scared, but now they are in a safe place.

These four sweet girls are only about 1.5 months old. They are currently being cared for in Padukka, but what they truly need now is a place to call home.❤️

They are looking for warm, loving forever homes where they will be cared for and protected for the rest of their lives.

One of our kind-hearted members rescued these four precious little puppies. They were part of a litter of six, but tragically, two of their siblings were taken by a water monitor lizard before they were rescued.

These four survivors, two little boys and two sweet girls are around 5 weeks old. These four babies had a rough start in life and they are in need of love, care and protection.

They have already been dewormed and received their Anti-Rabies Vaccinations.

They are in need of a warm, loving forever home, which they truly deserve.

Please do open up your heart and home for these innocent babies. Give them a chance to grow up in a loving, safe and caring environment. Let’s turn their heartbreaking beginning into a beautiful story of love and second chances.

Today we successfully concluded the sterilization and ARV vaccination program at the MOH office in Beddagana, Pitakotte.

A heartfelt thank you to Animal Wellness Trust Sri Lanka and the Fondation Brigitte Bardot for so generously sponsoring today’s Sterilization Program held at the MOH Office premises in Beddagana, Pitakotte🙏🏼❤️
Your support is truly life changing for so many voiceless animals.

A big thank you also goes out to the amazing team at Best Care Animal Hospital for their dedication and excellent work throughout the day.

We would also like to thank the Vetarinary Department of the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council headed by Dr. Ruvini Pimburage for collaborating with us for this project.

A total of 44 cats and dogs were sterilized and vaccinated today.
This is an extremely important step in controlling the stray population humanely.

We are grateful for this opportunity we received in making a meaningful difference in the lives of these innocent animals 🙏🏼

We have some truly wonderful news about Chooty, a doggy rescued from Colombo 5😊. Chooty's owner's were moving houses and were to leave Chooty all by herself. We rescued Chooty and were trying to find a home for her.

Charith and Nimesha reached out to us and agreed to foster Chooty, till she found a home.

However this little girl has stolen the hearts of her foster parents. Chooty's foster parents, Charith and Nimesha, have decided to adopt her. We are overjoyed and deeply grateful for this beautiful turn of events.🙏🏻❤️

After spending more than two long years chained outside, Chooty is finally free. She finally gets to feel the love, care, protection and the warmth of a real family and a loving home. Today, she enjoys warm hugs, endless cuddles and kisses.

We are happy to share that we were able to administer the booster vaccinations to the doggies we vaccinated last month in Ethul Kotte.

They are now protected from deadly diseases such as Rabies, Parvovirus and Distemper.

We have just started a new initiative to fully vaccinate our vulnerable street dogs who are at a high risk of contracting these life-threatening illnesses. Your support can make a world of difference.

Even the smallest donation can go a long way in keeping these voiceless lives safe and healthy.

This is Shadow and Ginger.
These two little girls were found last year abandoned and helpless, soaking in the rain while being dumped in a drain in Wattala.

KAWSL rescued them just in time and their story took a beautiful turn. A kind-hearted family opened their home to them, giving them not just shelter but a lifetime of love and care.

With the support of KAWSL, Shadow and Ginger received their initial vaccinations and sterilization surgeries. Today, they are two healthy, happy and beautiful girls, thriving in a home where they are safe, cared for and loved.

From a cold, dirty drain to a warm, loving home, this is the difference that kindness and compassion can make.

Goodbye, Sweet Pluto ❤️

With heavy hearts, we share the sad news that our dear boy Pluto, whom we rescued just two weeks ago, has passed away from cardiac arrest. He was an old doggy and although we did everything in our power to save him, it was his time to go.

In the short time we had with him, Pluto touched our hearts deeply. Despite his suffering, he showed resilience and gentleness. We are grateful that we were able to give him comfort, safety and care in his final days.

To everyone who supported us in helping Pluto, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Run free, sweet boy. You are finally free from all pain and suffering. You are finally at rest.

Rest in peace, dear Pluto. You will always be remembered.❤️‍🩹
