The first dog that settled at our house was long-haired St. Bernhardshund female named ALBA (born in 1981). She was from A. and D. Načiuliai home. Since then our cinological activity started, that means that we started participation in the shows, cinological courses of judgment, breeding, judging in the dog shows and so on. In 1985 year, we were one of the firsts in Lithuania, who started growing
and breeding English Cocker Spaniel. The female GELMI BELINGKOKA came to us from Moscow, later BRAITON‘S KIPŠAS from Latvia and MARTIN HANGA from Poland settled at our kennel. We can be proud, that many of modern-day champions have ancestries with names of our dogs. In 1988 year, the female of Deutscher Schaferhund named XILKA VON BLEICHER TANN came to our kennel from Germany. In 1992, when the Lithuanian Cynological society (LKD) was founded, we were one of the firsts who registered our kennel „VILNOJA“. At that moment „VILNOJA“ kennel was breeding St. Bernhardshund and Deutscher Schaferhunds. When LKD started to organise the competitions of „Junior handler“, my daughter Živilė became interested in it. Later she grew to the winner of many competitions and not only in Lithuania, but she won in the international show in Riga, Minsk, and Warsaw. She participated perfectly in the famous „Craft“shows two times and in the World‘s and European championships in Helsinki, Milan, Tiuln and so on. After finishing the career of „Junior handler“, she has not busted up the dogs. Živilė participates in the shows not only with her own dogs, but she works and presents the dogs of other owners. During the participation in the show abroad, she became enamoured of Golden Retriever breed. (At that time there were no Golden Retriever in Lithuanian dog shows).Thanks to Živilė, in 1997, the male of Golden Retriever XANTHOS WOT‘SIZ NAME from famous England kennel and the female PRETTY WOMAN OF TOP TEAM from Hungary settled in our kennel. Ineffaceable impression was left to her by the winner of Alaskan Malamute RAIDER DEL BIAGIO of the European championship in Tiuln. So in the end of 2005, the pair of Alaskan Malamute - ARCTIC FLASH DEL BIAGIO and ASIAK DEL BIAGIO – from the one of the most famous kennel of Alaskan Malamute „DEL BIAGIO“ (Italy) came to our kennel. In 2007, the kennel „Vilnoja“was registered in the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI). We are very happy, that our little Kotryna follows Živilė‘s example. From seven years old she started participation in the competitions of Junior Handler and she became the winner of the group of her age many times and she has even become the winner in the final of the competition. In 2008, Kotryna represented Lithuania successfully in the World‘s dog show in Stockholm and in the European championship in Budapest she won the second place in her age group. The pride of „VILNOJA“ kennel - 10 interchanpions, 5 Baltic Champions, 15 Multichampions, more than 40 junior and adult Lithuanian champions. In kennel “VILNOJA “ are breeding ONLY purebred dogs who match FCI breed standarts, Health and Psyche requirements
GOAL OF THE KENNEL: not quantity of the puppies, but the quality: great health, good physical information and animal welfare. When selling the puppies we check client’s knowledge, responsibility and preparation for puppie’s care. We consult about growing, breeding dogs, participating in shows.
