I initially was going to keep this puppy from the previous litter. She's the prettiest one. She shows the most Australian Shepherd but definitely got the Chihuahua. She doesn't listen at all. she's very headstrong. she'll need a lot of work. I started teaching her to be in a little corral. she doesn't like the kennel and she's doing really good with that but she needs more potty training. I've had a hard time finding any harness that'll fit her chunky little body. She will come with Fromm puppy food and her toys and a really nice little sweater and harness I got her and leash this will also include her getting fixed and all her shots and stuff and microchipped.
She can be a little food aggressive with other animals also
her name is Ember
trying to figure out why this adorable manx Kitty is still sitting here in rescue

Fostering is easy and it's a way to enjoy and experience pets without long-term responsibility.
Often rescues need help with kittens that may be too young to get started so they need somewhere to go that is clean and safe away from the majority of other animals until they are big enough for their vaccines. They also need people to spend time with them socializing and playing. That one on one care makes them very adaptable and healthy.
Sitting in a rescue environment they have exposure to many viruses adult cats carry and often the rescues don't have time to give them that one on one play and cuddles they need.
If you have a cat-friendly dog even better as it is a plus if the rescue finds out the cat likes dogs.
Perks of Fostering
* you get to play with kittens
* you get to name the kittens
*you can send them back if unable to continue or need to travel
*All supplies provided (unless you wish to help the rescue by purchasing yourself)
*you get to be part of a happy ending
*you observe and provide the rescue with valuable insight into the animal's behavior to help in adopting them out.
ADOPTION EVENT OCTOBER 19TH AT REPURPOSE PROJECT IN GAINESVILLE
update
I forgot to update this but sadly the little baby did not make it. it passed about an hour after we dropped it off but we took the other babies and the mom for her to compare and she felt that this kitten was possibly more premature and was a lot smaller and her head was not fully developed. so probably even in the best of conditions may not have made it. The sad thing is this kitten did not need to be born just to die. it did not need to be born at all.
I talked to one of the women I know from Ocala that deals with neonatals and she recommended I contact another lady has helped before and she gave me some tips on the little tiny baby that wasn't doing well and then checked back in an hour and then said I should probably bring it to her. so we just got home from driving her to Ocala to see if this lady could save her life. not only is she weak and not taking food, she's a lot smaller than her siblings. I hope she makes it cuz she's really pretty and looks like her mom
some really nice people in Hawthorne asked me if I could help this pregnant cat that had been around for a few days. she looked like she was early pregnant. so I said yeah bring her and we're going to take her and have her fixed. I thought her teats looked a little weird but I didn't see any milk so at that time we were unaware of the whole situation.
She was super nice so we took her to the spay program yesterday morning and then later in the morning they called me and told me that the neighbor found four kittens under the house. I said so let me wait and see what they say at the spay program.
when I picked her up in the evening they said that she was lactating and it looked like she had already given birth but that her uterus was inverted and infected. So everything was good because she probably would have died and so would have the babies if we had not done what we did. They got the babies as stable as possible overnight and brought them early in the morning and she took them right back.
these guys got to foster home today. thank you, Priscilla
Moss acorn and ferny need a foster home and they seem to be dog friendly. They didn't even care about the dog in the background
