Omg. I just saw a story about a squirrel named Peanut who was rescued as a baby after his Mom was killed. The family that adopted him tried to release him but he couldnt survive. He did not meet NY criteria for wild animal permit. NY vigilantes invaded his home, searched it for 5 hours. Denied him bathroom breaks without chaperone. Ransacked his entire home and TOOK 7 year old pet away and euthanized him!!!!
