Sjeng was geboren in 1938. Hij interesseerde zich op zijn 14e met duiven en was zogenaamd meteen ‘besmet’ met het duivenvirus en dat is nooit meer weggegaan. De interesse in duiven en ook in andere dieren kreeg hij zonder twijfel door van zijn vader.

In 1969 verhuisde Sjeng naar Sittard en daar moest natuurlijk ook met duiven gespeeld worden. Want eenmaal met het duivenvirus besmet kom je er niet meer vanaf. Daar ging hij samen spelen met zijn schoonvader Sjaak en dit deden ze met de nodige resultaten en fanatisme. Tot de dood van Sjaak hebben ze altijd samen met de duiven gespeeld met veel plezier.

Na het overlijden van schoonvader Sjaak was Menno Pfeifer de neef van Sjeng zijn vrouw zijn steun en toeverlaat. Ondanks dat ze concurrenten waren waren ze ook compagnon met de duiven. Samen deden ze fanatiek aan de sport en met de nodige mooie resultaten.

Helaas kon Sjeng zijn fanatisme niet meer laten zien in seizoen 2022, want op 28 april liet hij het leven.

Wij willen graag het levenswerk van Sjeng Willemsen aanbieden op Top Pigeons als waardering voor Sjeng en zijn duiven.

Sjeng was born in 1983. He was immediately interested in pigeons from the age of 14 year old. The interest in animals had him from his father. He was not only a pigeon lover, but he loved all animals.

In 1969 Sjeng moved to Sittard. And there he must be playing with pigeons. He played in combination with his father in law Sjaak. Sjaak and Sjeng were inseparable. They won a lot of good results. Until the death of Sjaak they played together with a lot of fun.

After Sjaak past away Sjeng had a new big friend. His name was Menno Pfeifer. Menno was a nephew of Sjengs' wife. However they were rivals, they had a lot of fun with each other.

Unfortunately, Sjeng could no longer show his fanaticism in the 2022 season, because on April 28 he lost his life.
