About Fur Baby Memories
We know what it means to lose a beloved pet. While there are support systems and observances in place to help endure the loss of a family member or friend, there are few substantive mechanisms available to help cope with the bear the loss of a pet. We have lost several fur babies over many years, and every time and every pet is different. Many of our friends just expected us to get over it and resume our daily activity. Unfortunately, simply asking us to "get over it" was much easier said than done. Our pets became integral parts of our family, and when they died, it left a substantial void in our lives. Their loss left intense pain and emptiness. There was no appropriate or correct way for us to grieve and work through this cumbersome grieving process — every person who has this experience saunters an entirely different path. Because we felt so passionately about this situation, we thought that it was essential for us to offer something to help you better ensure that loss of your fur baby. You won't be able to "get over it" as others suggested to us, but we believe that by providing a sensitive, commemorative memorial can help you better endure your loss.
