We are a small organisation in Ohrid, North Macedonia (Europe) lead by two people. Like us.

Non-profit Organisation from Ohrid, Macedonia helping stray dogs, cats, birds and other animals in need by feeding, treating, sterilizing, vaccinating, bringing them to the vet, and finding them forever homes. Macedonia is experiencing an epidemic of stray dogs. Unfortunately, the government does not do anything about this. There are some public “shelters” that are in such poor condition that most

of the animals die due to the lack of resources. There are individuals who have taken it upon themselves to volunteer and save animals. We fundraise and receive donations from people but it is definitely not enough. We need help and support for neutering, feeding, healing, vet expenses and private pensions until we find them happy homes. Us volunteers we work so hard to send as many dogs as possible to other parts of Europe,UK where they get adopted. If you like a dog/cat from our page or instagram page we will try to make it possible to get to you across the world. We also look for injured animals and we bring them to get the proper care they need at the vet. Likewise, if we find an animal that has been poisoned we intervene and bring them to the vet to save their life. Not only do these strays need medical help and protection, they also need to eat. They are starving to death. They are skin and bones covered in mange. Struggling to make it all work, we closed our shelter in February 2022 and curently working with foster homes,pensions and bringing them to our own homes to save as much animals as possible. This Sunday we would like to brighten your evening with the adoption of Boa ❤️

She joined our Daisy ( rescued and adopted 3 years ago) and her amazing family in Luxemburg 🇱🇺

Slowly adjusting to life with a family and learning how life can be in a forever home! 🏠

Boa was rescued in March after being left in the middle of no where near the Bukovo landfill from where we always take dogs :/

Toulouse and Marie were rescued from the streets of Ohrid,N.Macedonia as two month old kittens. They were trown in a cartoon box like garbage in begging of May. They were extremely lucky, to be found and fostered. Looked after like babies and taken care with great love. Marie - the smarter one, the more independent one, the wild one. Beautiful female that is her own boss. She doesn’t ask for much , a spot next to you, and maybe if she is in the mood to come to your lap for some pets. But she will never say no to food, treats and whatever is on the table. Toulouse - the more dumber in the duo, extreme cuddler, cat like a glue to you. Will demand to sleep with you, on you or very very near you😂 A 5 star personal cleaner to his sister, making sure her baths are regular and she is always clean. Ones this job is done, he continues to clean the dogs , starting at his favorite part the ears! This duo has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, cleaned from inside and outside parasites as well as both of them fixed (spayed and neutered).They have been living inside only, fully potty trained to use an open litter box. Marie and Toulouse haven’t met other cats, but they live with two small sized dogs. Also they know the neighborhood middle sized dog.Their favorite food is wet food, and demand it mixed with their dry food, or they are not giving you a 5 star review 🤣Please help us find homes for these guys before Christmas, so they can have their own Christmas tree to destroy 🎄Please don’t forger to Share with your family and friends ✨🙏🏻

Pepper is still looking for a forever home 🌶️ His sister is enjoying life in Germany 🇩🇪 while he is in the cold Macedonian winter alone 🥺

Pepper is a young energetic boy who had a rough start in life.
Him and his sister were found at a beach in Ohrid,Macedonia in a cartoon box. Their third sister was already dead 🙁

Since then they are living in a foster home along with two more dogs.

Pepper has a strong open minded character. He enjoys having your attention.
Friendly with everyone, he loves to play with the other dogs and run arround the garden. 🪴
Pepper haven’t met a cat, but he knows children age 7years+.
He has shown to be a good passenger in the car and go along the ride.
Also Pepper has been introduced to different floring inside of the house and has no issues at all.

Pepper has been vaccinated 3 times with DHLPP vaccine and rabies vaccination 💉 He is also microchipped and has his very own passport.
The approximate date of birth is mid February and a labrador size growth.

Pepper is ready to find his forever and have his own forever family 🌶️ Let’s make his Christmas miracle happen 🎄

We are devastated to inform you that our fighter Rocky lost his battle 💔

Unexpectedly Rocky all of a sudden wasn’t feeling well, he was bleeding, sick and shivering.
By the time the symptoms were noticed and the time he was taken in the car for the vet ( we are talking about minutes) he passed away 😞

Rocky was very sick with Leishmaniasis and we did beyond everything to give him a chance.
At the end the leishmaniasis win it’s battle.

Run free Rocky, no more pain for you up there. Wish we could’ve done better for you in this world 💔😇

Long awaited happy news! 🥰

Boa is reserved!

She will be traveling and joining our other rescue dog Daisy in Luxemburg 🇱🇺

Daisy family was looking for a second dog, and then fate brought us together when we wrote them we have Boa available 🙈

Daisy and Boa will be perfect together, they are similar characters and they are both angels!

Couldn’t be happier for these news!

Long waited Nala update 🙏🏻

Everyone we are sorry that we kept you waiting for Nala update.
For those who don’t know who Nala is, she is a dog we rescued 3 years ago from a village with her brothers and sisters. She was happily adopted in UK 🇬🇧 for 3 years, but due to her family personal reasons we needed to take her back.
Unfortunately no one stepped out to offer a foster or forever home for Nala , so we had no choice but to place her in kennels.

Due to kennels being overflowed we found only one that cost us 20£ daily.

On top of that she was fighting an ear infection that required vet care, so the bill there is 119£

We were so so so lucky that Nala had a person who wanted to offer her a forever home, but due to Nala being only dog in the house till now, her outside reactivity things aren’t going really well as expected but of course it’s only the beginning.

BUT

This is only a test adoption meaning if this doesn’t work out Nala will unfortunately need to go back in kennels.

Till now the bill of her stay and vet bill is 320£.

Helping the transition maybe a behaviorist will be involved, and we stay behind our dog we rescued 3 years ago and more cost will be involved.

We are begging you for a financial support.

Our monthly patreon goes to Boa, Rocky and Pepper kennel and medical expenses. 😕

Happy Tuesday! 🐱

Today was the day for the last step in the two rescue kittens, getting them sterilized and castrated.

Sadly no one showed intrest in them so far 😕

They are fully vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, potty trained, very bonded, dog friendly and real dream team.

This procedure today costed us 20€ transport to the vet in Bitola, and 100€ for their bloodwork, sterilization and castration.

Another huge cost in this crisis after all the monthly costs, so do we have any cat lovers that can help us cover this expense?

Every little makes a huge difference and will mean a lot to them!

Nala is in a urgent need of foster/forever home 🏡 I’m looking to book her kennel soon as the situation is urgent 🙁 After 3 years in a warm bed, she will be in the cold kennel!

Nala was rescued from the mountain village in Macedonia, and is the second survivor of her litter. Nala went a long road to survive and found a home in UK in March 2021.

Unfortunately due to personal reasons the family can no longer take care of Nala and she needs to be rehomed ASAP.

Nala has tinned food morning and night, she has a daily walk although with everything going on at the moment they haven’t been as long or frequent as she is used on, she is reactive to dogs on walks so has a muzzle.
BUT once introduced she is totally fine and dog friendly.
Preferably quieter areas for walks and ideal will be outside city home.

Nala has grown with kids, currently she is living 8 year old and she also has been around 3 year old.

Overall loves people, always wants to say hi and have a cuddle.

At night she is kept in the kitchen, she is used to a cat but will chase to play, she loves a stroke and a fuss.

Last vet visit was about 6 months ago ish because she was a bit poorly but she got over whatever was wrong on her own, flea and worming all up to date.

Nala is born late 2020, and is big size dog.
She is wonderful, and will make a perfect family dog for someone who is adoring big breeds.

She is currently in Woodley, Reading UK 🇬🇧

It’s time for Rocky update! ❤️

Rocky finished his first Milteforan course and he was at the vet to a check up.

His biochemistry and bloodwork still don’t look the best, there is a tiny bit improvement.

So the plan continues that he needs Animal Strath vitamins , Vitamin C, B12 injections, Allopurinol, Omega 3 supplements.
Good food and in a month another check up.

So far his vet visit was 40€
His supplements also cost , and of course his medication…

It’s been long journey so far, and there is lot to come, so we would gladly use some help!

Patch is still looking for a forever home 🏡🫑

Patch is a the biggest hippie doggy we had in a while 😁
Her and her brother were found at a beach in Ohrid,Macedonia in a cartoon box. Their third sister was already dead 🙁

Since then they are living in a foster home along with two more dogs.

Living with her brother she bonded a lot to a protective and caring brother next to her.
Patch enjoys the attention from everyone, she specially enjoys the cuddles after a vet visit😂
Like any puppy in her age, she grows everyday running around, playing with toys and eating everything 🙈
Patch is friendly with everyone, she loves to play with the other dogs and run arround the garden. 🪴
Patch haven’t met a cat, but she knows children age 7years+.
Patch has been driven in a car and has no issues sitting in the back seat of the car 🚗
Also Patch has been introduced to different floring inside of the house and has no issues at all.

Patch has been vaccinated 3 times with DHLPP vaccine and rabies vaccination 💉 She is also microchipped and has her very own passport.
The approximate date of birth is mid February and a labrador size growth.

Patch would love to have her own family that will give her all the unconditional love ❤️

Boa is still looking for a forever home 🩷

Boa is the kindest, and the dog with the prettiest eyes. On first look you will say oh how sad she looks, but believe us that is completely the opposite. Otherwise she is described as the perfect dog!

Boa was rescued from the landfill Bukovo, where she was left at the middle of the road. She had both cherry eyes and was very skinny.
She had so much luck we didn’t runned her over, and that we stopped 🙏🏻

Boa had operation on both eyes to fix it, and made a full recovery 🙏🏻 In the meantime she got all vaccinated, microchipped and sterilized 🙏🏻

A character like Boa is like having a child with an adult mind. She is so calm and would only like to be in your arms cuddling.
Adores to play with the other dogs, no problem with small/big or boys/girls. She has been such a joy having her around.

Slowly Boa needs to find her forever family, because no one wants to call a shelter their home.

Rescuing is not always dark and scary, there are this parts that we don’t talk about enough 💙 Life after being adopted. Yes it’s only one dog. Yes it didn’t change the world. Yes the problem with stray dogs is still here. But look at him, and you can say his world changed. Sam who we barely took from the streets of Resen, Macedonia because people “loved him” on the streets, the same Sam who tried going back there and the same Sam who waited months to be seen and recognized. To the beautiful family who adopted him, we can never say thank you enough for making our boy so happy. Enjoy Semi, that’s what you were supposed to do all this time. Love you forever❤️

Like volunteers we work so hard to send as many dogs as possible to other parts of Europe where they get adopted. If you like a dog/cat from our page or instagram page we will try to make it possible to get to you across the world. We also look for injured animals and we bring them to get the proper care they need at the vet. Likewise, if we find an animal that has been poisoned we intervene and bring them to the vet to save their life. There have been incidents of people hitting dogs with axes, people hitting dogs with cars/motorcycles, and even kicking/punching them. Not only do these strays need medical help and protection, they also need to eat. They are starving to death. They are skin and bones covered in mange. Alone ourselves we have created a small paradise where we keep our rescue animals, a place that is sadly not ours and does not have electricity.
