Update: Echo's rescue is happy to announce that with the funds from a Reaching Out fundraising event has been successfully covered a debt for 2 months kennels fees for June and July 2024 for ANGELO🫶🐾

Kathy Barrett Alison Hobson & dear friends of Echo's Rescue family... first of all sending gratitude for all your genuine support to animals in need... Echo's Rescue has helped to many dogs, puppies, cats and kittens that was suffering on the cruel streets. The rescue mission is full of challenges, struggles and hope that the destiny of every saved soul can be changed for a better tomorrow. Generally in Balkan and speaking of Macedonia... unfortunately... can't be done something more serious dealing with ignorance from part of people and authorities. Practically the conscious people are left to deal with cruelty everyday and all alone.
Deeply apologies that haven't been able to follow the activities on the fundraiser because our rescue family had really difficult times to overcome having loud and clear frightenings from people that are opposed helping strays. The shelter had to move on urgent 😢 💔 and that was causing great damage and stress to rescues. Struggling to find a safer location, we had to move in a place without many possibilities, but, no people in surroundings. There was hard times to adapt a place, but, the safety need more investment. The place have no electricity and need some solar solutions. Half of the dogs are on the place... but, for half need fence, dog houses, despite of need of food. Half of the dogs are still on the old location, but, they need to move asap.
The dogs in kennels have no sponsorship and there is also frightenings for the safety because of debts.
Can't thank you enough that you have give your support even haven't being aware what we have going though.
The important thing is that we are keeping our rescue family together and aiming for a better tomorrow despite every obstacles - Sincerely gratitude for being with us😇🐾

GOOD NEWS FROM ECHO'S RESCUE ❤️

Meet beautiful BELINA.

HISTORY
Belina was rescued from the streets in July 2022, where she'd managed to survive with her litter of puppies. When she was found, three of her pups were still with her and they were rehomed successfully in September 2022.

Initially, Belina and her pups were fed on the streets and then were kept at the public shelter. The public shelter carried out spaying and vaccinations and then Echo's Rescue took over responsibility for their care and any future veterinary treatment.

PERSONALITY
Belina is about 5 years old and has striking blue eyes. She is of mixed breed probably Husky/Samoyed.
She is a friendly dog whose calm and gentle manner means that she gets on well with both adults and children. She's good with other dogs and is cat friendly.

HAPPY RESULT ❤️
Belina has now been selected for adoption and earlier this month she travelled to Germany where she's enjoying life in her temporary foster home ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has donated towards the costs of caring for Belina. Your generosity and kindness has given her the opportunity of a happy life ❤️

Hello from Echo's Rescue!

Here's a lovely mixed breed dog called CASSEDY who is ready to move to his forever home.

He is around 2 years old, and of small size, weighing 11 Kgs.

CASSEDY was found abandoned on the streets of Macedonia where he was struggling to survive at the side of a very busy road.

After being taken to safety by Echo's Rescue, Cassedy has received a thorough veterinary check and is ready to travel to a new home in the UK and the EU.

Echo's Rescue is pleased to introduce you to this litter of six delightful puppies who were born in late October 2023.

ℹ️They were born on the streets of Macedonia🇲🇰 where Belle, their Mum, was doing her best to keep them safe🧡
The whole family was taken to safety by Echo's Rescue, and were given a thorough vet check✅️
They are all in good health and have been vaccinated. Mum has been spayed and eventually her puppies will need to be sterilised too.

The pups are growing quickly and will be medium-sized once they're fully grown. Obviously, keeping them safe, well-fed and healthy wil come at a cost during the coming months until they are rehomed and this is why sponsorships and donations are so important.

🙏🏻Any offers of sponsorship, which is €60 per month per pup, would be a wonderful help and if it's better for you, sponsorship can be shared and can be for a limited period of time such as two or three months🙏🏻

📢URGENT HELP FOR GERRY🙏🏻

🆘️Help is needed for handsome Gerry, a street dog who has been treated so very badly🆘️

ℹ️In December 2023 he was seriously injured in a road traffic accident, but, instead of helping him, someone threw him into a ditch and left him to die alone and suffering in pains😥

Other people watched without helping and actually laughed, while Echo's Rescue managed to pull Gerry out of the ditch. He was then taken to the vet immediately where he was assessed and treated for internal bleeding.

➡️He has been receiving veterinary care since then.

X-rays have revealed significant damage to four vertebrae, which resulted in Gerry being unable to walk and unable to pass urine without assistance.

Gerry is receiving individual care from a disability specialist, and he is responding well. Now, he is looking and feeling so much better and he's regained full bowel and bladder control.

In addition, Gerry is able to move his hind legs and has been making brave attempts to stand.

🆘️Obviously, this specialist care is not provided free of charge. Help is needed urgently towards covering the specialist care monthly fees, because otherwise wouldn't be possible for Gerry to proceed, despite he is showing a progress🆘️

GERRY is a calm boy who deserves to have a much better life. He deserves happiness.

As we all know, the cost of everything is rising. A few of the animals are sponsored, but, many are not and although there are some kind donations, increasing costs are making it harder to keep the animals well fed.

🐾The one basic that is essential is a regular food supply. Echo's Rescue needs your help to achieve this🐾

Would you like to help the rescue, but maybe sponsorship is too much?

🐾An alternative to sponsorship would be making a regular donation each month - it doesn't matter how small. Just knowing that a certain amount will be there each month will be such a great help🐾

🇲🇰Echo's Rescue is a small rescue based in Macedonia. Currently is caring for around 70 dogs, puppies and cats.

🇲🇰Echo's Rescue is determined to continue with the rescuing, treatment, care and rehoming of animals in distress. The rescue activities are generally based on donations that will give support to the cause that is done on a purely voluntary basis.

🌍All funds raised are spent on caring for the animals❤️

🌎Donations are needed regularly for:

FOOD and SUPPLEMENTS
VETERINARY CARE
KENNEL'S FEES
IMPROVEMENT OF THE SHELTER'S CONDITION ACCORDING SEASONAL and PARTICULAR NEEDS etc.

🏘SPONSORING or CO-SPONSORING one of the animals saved by Echo's Rescue would also be an enormous help. Some of the animals already have sponsors, but, there are many lovely dogs and cats who still need their special 'sponsor parents'. Perhaps you would prefer to sponsor for just a short time, such as three months, and this would be a very welcome help too.

The increase in the cost of living is having an impact on all of us and it isn't always easy to donate. BUT even the smallest of donations will make a difference and will be very much appreciated.
