Did you know?🤔 Cats use their whiskers to “feel” the world around them in an effort to determine which small spaces they can fit into. A cat’s whiskers are generally about the same width as its body. (This is why you should never, EVER cut their whiskers.)

Taking a look back and appreciating this breed where some of our Orientals are no longer with us, but thanks to there participation they will always be in our hearts 🥰

As a continuation from my last post where I posted what you should expect when buying or rescuing a kitten 👉

Upon date of collecting your kitten take your cat carrier, put a liner inside and take a toy with you.

Collect the health card and check the kitten before leaving;

Is it the kitten you chose & paid for? Is the coat clean of any fleas? Check the cats ears, is there a build up of wax & are they ear mite free?
Check the eyes, are they clean or weeping.

Collect pedigree unless you have an arrangement in the contract and if collecting from abroad, collect passport too which should have microchip number, the correct cat information and rabbies shot.

Take the balance amount you owe and take your contract to write paid, date cash, PayPal etc.

A processional breeder will be there to guide you through your kitty life together, for example grooming tips and what type of grooming tools you need to buy! Please remember that hairless cats need grooming too ))

If you have homed a rescue cat, please check all of the above 👆 too, even if collecting locally or from abroad.

Next step is settling your kitty at home and playing till your vets visit within 48 hours and quarantine for 10-14 days if you have other pets at home!
